Let's be real. If the people who knew how to do money taught everyone how to make money, would it even be possible to make money anymore... Yep, in the arts of money making there is a loser and a winner. Not everyone can win. Hence why people who know how to make money, do not teach it.

@@The-Rest-of-Us he’s right. Do you really think there weren’t tons of other people “working hard” just like Bill Gates? There were tons of people just like him, in the same industry, selling the same stuff. (If you don’t think bill gates deserved to get rich, just replace bill gates with whatever rich person you look up to and think earned their money) Continuing, this isn’t to say he didn’t work hard or he didn’t deserve to succeed. He did. Bill just happened to be the innovative, hard working guy who got LUCKY. There were and are plenty of other hard working innovators who ended up poor. Those guys deserved success too, just like bill gates, but they just happened to be unlucky. There are plenty of people who work smart and also work hard. Yet very, very few of them become successful. Working hard and working smart are the prerequisites. But that is not at all the factor that determines whether you’ll get rich

Brian has really tried to get maximum mileage out of his relatively short, unremarkable and unsuccessful career in financial services. I also enjoy the way he dresses it up as a personal choice to leave the industry, even though it happened around the '07/'08 financial crisis and clearly he just lost his job and couldn't get another.

It's a shame because I went to his sales training seminar a few years ago and the man is genuinely talented and he could make all the money he wants without fakery. The techniques he taught us were not dodgy and were genuinely very good tips, and he made sure to say "never use these techniques to sell something without genuine value". I wish he just had stuck to that cause it's such a waste of a smart guy.

Nontheless, when KZbin ads feeds me a steady stream of grifter ads, I am not upset by the grifters themselves, I am upset the KZbin algorithm has such a low opinion of my intellect that it thinks grifter ads will work on me.

PSA: if you find someone telling you about how to make money it's a scam. Put yourself in their shoes (by "their" I'm referring to the people who tell you this) why would you tell people about this very lucrative secret on how to make millions easily? Wouldn't that ruin the hack you just stumbled upon? Be smart, be safe. Edit: and that's just assuming they truly have this "golden egg"

In an amazing British TV show called "Hustle" they have this saying "You can't con an honest man" I always thought this is just a plot device to make the characters less reprehensible. But in some way they are right. You can con honest people with small-time grifts. But if you are gonna make a huge grift, your best marks are always the pewny wannabe grifters who think they are being led in on the scam, while you empty their pockets.
