I love it when you all dig the graves. It is sincere and respectful. You do a real neat job, too! My brother did grounds keeping/landscaping at the county cemetery and he dug most of the graves. They had a backhoe. They never hired anyone. Working in a cemetery is hard work! Landscaping, cleaning, weeding, picking up old grave decorations, digging and burying, fixing broken sprinkler systems, mowing, building maintenance, on and on. Thanks for your help with the burial sites!

It is something of a joy for older people like me to see a great team at work. I enjoy seeing Nave just get stuck into the work that is the bedrock of you and your community. My daughter was born with a extra piece of skin over her voice box which caused her to aspirate, a lot! This caused her to have speech problems. She is 2 years old almost three and we work with her on a daily. One day I was scrolling through KZbin and your video of your grandfather's house came up where you were cleaning it out after 102 years or something like that. That has caused me to subscribe to your channel and watch other videos of yours. Which I really enjoy. In the process of me watching your videos by baby girl would be in the kitchen and hear the beginning of your videos " yourrrrrrr watching Cole the cornstar"! She gets so excited by that and comes running into the room that I am in and yells at me "Cole mmmm mmmm.....lol the mmmm mmmm is her not being able to say it. I will come home from work and look at her and say hey roro It's and she will say COLE mmmm mmmm! We will sit there and watch your newest uploaded video or ones that we haven't seen yet together. she will stand in front of the TV as if she was watching SpongeBob or something I think she may be one of your biggest fans...... Thanks for your post and thanks for throwing God in your post. Praise for your family and your farm. Thanks for your videos. 🙏🙏🙏 P.S if this continues we may need to arrange a visit she really gets a kick out of watching you!

That is difficult along with the hard work you do. You represent that amazing IOWA work ethic so well and it makes me proud to be an Iowan :) You also don't just plant seeds of corn and soy beans, you are planting seeds of faith and that is amazing to see happening in your comment section :)

I like your logo. It looks like the corn's waving. I like the way Nave's mom spelled her name. She didn't go with Knave. Good Call. This day looked so uncomfortably cold, especially like you said, the wind! That was very interesting. I remember the family that dug graves in our town. I always wondered how they dug for my dad on 2/14. So snowy. I sure hated leaving him in the cold snow, but I knew his spirit was already with The Lord. What a day. I never saw graves made. Seems a lot of our family dies in winter. You do a great job with so much care. So Kind of you all. What teamwork & all the equipment. Wowz.

farming videos on KZbin show others part of how life is running a mid/ large sized family farm grain operation. Others who do beef and or hogs is another level of work & equipment. Seeing a younger generation such as Cole or Couper understanding doing so much puts most city types to shame. The Farm wives now do working off the farm jobs, back when I worked on a family run dairy, beef, hog and grain farm they still did tons keeping people feed and much more. Nave is a great girl plus hard worker. Don't forget to make her feel special.

I also work in a cemetery and it almost seems as though it would be a good investment for you to get a dump bed truck! It probably would save you a bit on fuel for the skid loader and quite a bit of time. Plus they're useful trucks to have all the time :) we have used a flat bed dump and one with sides. Makes things so much easier! Then for our boards, since we butt up to a high school, we cut a 2 by 6 down at least in half and use 3 boards going across the width of the grave then put a 3/8ths thick ply board across the grave to cover it and give it strength in case kids walk across it when it snows a lot :) then just use the ply board against the line of the grave opposite of the truck side to catch any dirt. Makes clean up nearly obsolete! How do you mark your graves? I love cemetery work. Keeps me busy year round doing maintenance

That Nave sure dose have my vote. I have used a skid steer a few times. I am real glad that she is willing to learn new things. You could save a load of time by using a Deere dump trailer instead of the skid loader. It’ll take only three trips to dig and 1.25 to fill back in after. Bonus is you can leave the last trailer there full of dirt and just dump and get another .25 to finish. That’s what we do at our cemetery. Cheers!
