That is not a smile. That is a neurological problem. She needs a vet and magnetic resonance. That dog had a concussion. Her eyes are red and open too much. The fundus shouldn't be visible. Her head is tilted to one side. The vertebrae in the neck were injured. Magnetic resonance is very expensive everywhere. Most vets first say cost and then quickly look at the patient. I live in Serbia( ex Tito's Yugoslavia, Balkan peninsula, Europe ).

What a wonderful young lady/college student, to take on a pregnant foster dog, changing to a Mama dog with "8" puppies during exams. It had to be exhausting for her and her great friends who cared for them all at this time in their busy lives. I can only imagine how they got through all the stress at that time. Speaks volumes on their character, strength and their hearts. What amazing young people. Then they found loving homes for all "9"of them. Their families must be so very proud of all of them. I wish more young people had the love and compassion to do such wonderful things that these students did. I pray they all do great in college and in their futures lives.
