I have a Boerboel (south african mastiff ) people treated her soo bad dogs are supposed to be breaded at 2 but poor girl was breaded at 1 she was hit and kicked but I rescued her now shes happy and now she’s got a mischievous puppy on her paws

I think somehow kids have a special connection to dogs, especially young puppies. Maybe because they sense that children's youth is a safer and more innocent way to allow themselves to grow closer to.

It's a possibility. When me, my mom, and little sister brought home our shelter puppy he contacted with my nephews. He slept in their room every single night and when they're gone he goes and hides under my oldest nephew's bed or just sleeps on their clothes.

This beautiful family were the defibrillator for this puppy! They brought him to life and taught him how to accept love, play, affection and companionship and how beautiful his life could be, if he let it! When I saved my second rescue, we found her on the side of the road and and you could tell someone had dropped her. Anyway she was still in the middle of this 4way and I picked her up. When you would walk up to her she would roll over on her back and basically scream but as soon as you’d pet her she would calm down. Now she’s one of the most confident, protective dogs and is the best dogs for kids. I love her so much.

Not gonna lie, that lady over there has nerves of steel and is pretty amazing. She tells her children, repeatedly, that the dog is not here to stay. And they have to suck it up. Fascinating. This would not go over well with any child I know (WW3 more like). Maybe I only met spoiled children. Anyhow, the doggo is doing great in his target home.
