I know right!?!?! Totally a weird dude but you can tell his heart is in it. I actually found him to be quite endearing in an innocent simpleton kind of way. He's just super passionate about his belief. Its pretty clear that he is just spreading the message that he cares about in the best way he knows how. I also love that tosh seems to notice this in his guests. He creates humor without making them seem like total idiots when he sees they are coming from the right place.

Comment I received about the Tosh.0 show: "Ok, but why'd you have to answer that milk might be ok if you had your own cow?" My response: I would never say such a thing. It just sounded confusing, the way they edited everything. I said "yeah", meaning I understood what he was saying about having a cow in your back yard, then I said we can't get consent from the animals and have no right to steal from them. But yes, the way they edited that part made it confusing. They removed some of my important words. I'm sure it was an honest mistake on their part. Everyone on the show was very nice to me.

+John Sakars I totally agree with you about milk, even if it is a pet cow. For a cow to lactate, she must be made pregnant, and the milk that she creates for her baby is stolen from her by extraction. But eggs are different. Hens lay eggs as a natural part of their reproductive cycle, and if there is no rooster, the eggs are not fertile and will never hatch. The eggs are left by the hens, not extracted by humans (they are given, rather than taken, as is the case with milk). I have a flock of rescued hens who are living out their retirement in my yard, and I will eat their eggs and give them to my neighbors- it would be silly to waste the eggs. That said, I do not eat factory farmed eggs, as they treat the hens cruelly.

+Sandra Nonofyourbusiness Think about it this way. Hens were bred by humans to produce eggs in such quantity and frequency. Laying that many eggs is very taxing on their little bodies. I have three rescue hens, and when they lay, I just crack the eggs open, so they can recover the minerals and nutrients that they lost. The hens go nuts over them, especially the shell... So no, they are not "given". They have been forced to lay them, by humans. You are correct that it would be silly to let the eggs go to waste, so let the hens eat THEIR eggs. :)

I tried being vegan and was so skinny i felt sick. I love my cats and all animals but i eat a fruit, veggie and high protein meat diet with exercise and im great now.
