I am loving these collection videos mate!! So much nostalgia. Overall, I found the Ocean Amiga games I played back in the day to be rather difficult. Shadow Warriors is a port of Ninja Gaiden arcade version, released under the title Shadow Warriors in Europe.
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
I get so mixed up with all the ninja games🙄glad you’re enjoying the series, still 10 episodes left🙈

Yeah, best check that 'WWF' video....never know what you'll find on there! lol To be fair I had that game (and the video) and I remember buying it like it was yesterday from WH Smiths and I bumped into one of my best mates who was just about to buy Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker. Mad the stuff you remember! Navy Seals is a really good game on the Amstrad GX4000 believe it or not, looks great for an 8-bit console. Another top collection mate, Ocean are such a nostalgic company it's insane. A few of those will be added to my ebay watch list.....some things never change!
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Your mate with Jimmy White’s definitely made the better choice...just make me remember how many compilations I had in the day, had wwf on an Ocean compilation with Pit Fighter and Final Fight...all pretty pony games ha Yeah that Ocean label is one of the most nostalgic labels for me too

I’m absolutely loving these collection videos but I think I’ve said that already. Yes Addams Family has much better backgrounds on ST and it’s the version I’m nostalgic for but it does have push scrolling 🤫 JP on A1200 had FPS sections later in the game which I think are missing in A500 version. Nice to assess the quality of the pixel art on Beach Volley with that helpful close up 😉🤣 Toki is one I would love on Amiga or ST as it’s the first arcade game I remember (together with Vigilante and a couple of others) but it’s always a small fortune on both systems.
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Yeah Toki always seems to sell for a bit, I’ve had around 3 of them in bundles though so keep your eye out for those👍 Haha you wouldn’t get that sort of pixel art on Super Nintendo😂😂

Huge fan of epic mate, it's not an adventure game, it's a 3d shooter, they basically ripped off the start for battle star Galactica for the intro. One I need for my Bob wakelin collection, his artwork. Covered RoboCop 3 ages back, I really enjoyed it. I had sleepwalker, as you said very hard. Batman the caped crusader is one of my favourite boxes ever 😍. Elf is brilliant mate, I mapped it back in the day, one of my most treasured game's. Wild wheels is a game I keep meaning to try, had an idea for a video using it but never got around to it. Awesome collection mate, really fancy firing the Amiga up now.
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm maybe I’ve got to load epic up and give it a go, yeah I like the artwork on caped crusader but the game is pretty naff imo... Yeah get the miggy fired up mate👍

That is an impressive collection. I forgot how much Ocean actually produced. I have Robocop arcade which was data east but think the Ocean version was very similar if possibly better on home systems.
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Nah I’d still say the arcade version of Robocop was the best A few of the games were data east arcade conversions there, sly spy and bad dudes vs dragon ninjas were others
@garethc782 жыл бұрын
@@Sinisteve Arcade Robocop was good but the ZX Spectrum/C64 version was the best of all, if not just for the amazing title music

Just started watching....fcuking hell a hoodie! a hoodie!! you must have some serious air con on the go! Amazing collection mate loved that, agree on the "gold" ocean label i always thought it meant the game was "better" hahahaha Oooof 15 for a full set? i like it!

I filmed this weeks ago before the heatwave and it was probably gone midnight, gets pretty cold in my gameroom It’s actually closer to 10 without variations, only Eco and Ivanhoe I’d say are tricky to get hold of, Psygnosis is a different beast though🙈

International Open Golf was removed from sale because of poor reviews apparently. The CD32 version is uber rare! Ryder Cup was the successor. Jurassic Park A1200 version had a good 1st person section. I've no idea why there was some French in the Lethal Weapon title 🤣 Mr Nutz on the Amiga was the version that didn't get a release on the MD, and vise versa. Robocop 3 is a cracking game mate, albeit a little slow nowadays! I bought Sim Earth from the shop back in 1992! Fuck knows why!! 🙄 The only multi sports game I enjoyed on the Amiga was Winter Games 1994 (U.S. Gold) It wasn't amazing, but decent fun. I think NARC is broken on the ST and Amiga! It's relentless and frustrating as hell! 😡 Robocop 2 came with a postcard mate and the image is the same as the cover. Another cracking video Steve! I do love my Ocean games, you'd never have guessed 🤣
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
I should’ve printed a cd32 stick and stuck it on to wind you up haha Didn’t know Mr Nutz was different on MD although it looks pretty generic Actually looking at all the Ocean Amiga releases I’d say the library is so mixed with amazing and pretty pony

Blimey. Firstly, a cracking collection mate, not too many to go. Secondly I am rather jealous. Would be nice to collect from a developer but not all games are great. Perhaps there's a company you are not going for I could do?😀 Great stuff and I'll be around with a van soon.
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
😂😂you could do Lucas Arts, point and clicks don’t do much for me and I begrudge paying those high prices on games I’ll never play
@Itsmuchmore4 жыл бұрын
Great collection there might, next time you iron out some of your boxes that would be a good video to upload as might have to do that to some of my big boxes too
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s not a bad idea, I wouldn’t say I’m an expert but it’s very important not to overheat or the artwork will blister

An Amazing Amiga collection Steve are you going for a full ocean set ? I absolutely loved ocean back in the day it all started with Robocop and batman after that I wanted every movie licensed ocean release
@Sinisteve4 жыл бұрын
Yeah full Ocean around 12 left... Along with full Psygnosis, Gremlin, Elite, Sega and Capcom, around 40 games overall I think but some tough ones to find Remember the issues you had getting batman the movie to work😂😂nightmare ha
@SEGAZombie4 жыл бұрын
Sinisteve Retro Gamer hahaha yes mate well worth it all in the end though Bro as I finally ended up being able to play Batman and it runs a dream since you sorted my Card mate, and I also own 2 copies of the original hahahah
