Paul - I've always respected your honesty regarding how you struggled over lockdown (as so did I) and people love your videos as you're honest, have integrity and inspire people to go wild camping. For every moron who criticises, there's going to be 100 people who love your videos. Plus, it says more about them than it does about you - Big love from me, the Husband and the cat (who still loves your videos :-))

I don’t usually take the time to comment on KZbin videos but felt compelled to at last. I discovered your content during lockdown and have found your videos heartwarming. There’s a decent chance that I may even get out for some wild camping, your stuff having been so inspirational. Thank you for your honesty and openness, and for allowing us to join you on your trips; it’s always been very clear that your journeys mean much more to you than just taking in the scenery and drinking Brew Dog on top of a mountain, and I feel privileged to be able join you. Keep up the bloody good work, that man.

Never let the bullies and keyboard warriors get you down Paul you're a top bloke! Personally for me since finding your channel in 2019 you've inspired me to get into wild camping as I am a fan of "normal camping." I plan to start in the new year and I always come to your videos for helpful information and guides. Watching your content throughout lockdown has been uplifting so thank you for that. Hopefully once I've gotten a few camps under my belt I may bump into you somewhere and we can have a beer together. Keep up what you're doing mate!

I’m really pleased you kept that in, not because it’ll keep the trolls away, I don’t think they really watch your videos but because hopefully you’ll see just how much you’re appreciated and loved. I’ve read every comment (over 400 at this point and I’ll read more I’m sure) and I’m bursting with pride! Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to do so, they’ve echoed my comments too. I know just how much time, work, effort, money and passion goes into every video you make and I hate that just a few unjust keyboard warriors would make you doubt what you do. I know your true supporters appreciate that to make more videos of camps and views it means sponsorship, and company’s sending you the odd freebie to show. I’m sure the ⌨️🤌🏻 would say no to this given half a chance. I hope you get more, so much more that the dream becomes a reality. Keep shining and being brilliant. 😘 love your number 1 fan (along with Reggie and the kids obvs) xx

Don't let him forget how much he is appreciated! I've taken up Wild Camping with photography recently, and literally every bit of kit and research has been because of Paul and this channel, it's the Dog's Danglies. To have the courage to put yourself out here, on the "Socials" will always attract some negative attention, but this should be drowned in the absolute tidal wave of positivity. Just look at how many people have commented how Paul has helped them, that's through his hard work, something to be immensely proud of. Please keep up the good work.

Hey Paul, I've been watching your videos for a while now, you've helped me through a difficult time. Your personality and even the tone of your voice has been wonderful to watch. I rarely comment on videos, but that's just it isn't it? The quiet ones who just watch, enjoy and are thankful for the effort you put into your content aren't the ones who are going to say much. That, and the fact that I normally watch KZbin on my tv, and really I had to pull out my laptop just to go to the effort of writing this. However I felt compelled to tell you, we are out here, quietly watching, happy to see you on your adventures, keep up the good work, and always know that we will out number the twats who write crap.

You're doing amazing things experiencing true life outdoors, being out in the elements, waking up to those mountain views. Comments on a KZbin video are so far from that world, I hope you can manage to look past and brush off the mean ones, and look at all the positive ones telling you how much enjoyment your videos being. Truly I wish you all the happiness your videos give me mate, best of luck with the future struggles of this platform

First i was wondering why he would pour so much oil in his jetboil but then i remembered that his water had this colour. Gives the bolognese more colour and flavour.

Dear Paul. I do hope that you let this comment 'get under your skin' - I have watched your vids (all of them) and I think they are great. A really good source of info on kit, funny, wonderful scenery and outings. I've enjoyed all the vids including you and Jo building the van. I recommend your channel to everyone I know who may be interested in camping. Thank you for all your help and input. Keep them coming. You are appreciated.

Cheers Paul, my wife and myself were just talking about a wild camp trip to Kinder scout in a few weeks when I’m back in Yorkshire for a week. Great advice. Managed to convince her to get a Katadyn too. Try to ignore the plebs mate, they’re a stain on social media.

Sorry to hear about the stupid comment. I can't even believe someone would have anything negative to say to you, I love your videos and you're my number one favourite youtuber. I always tell my little girls that negative comments doesn't say anything about them, but everything about the one it comes from. I think you need to hear that too. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Finland 😊

Another great video Paul. Ignore the bad comments mate, unfortunately those people will always be around, but rest assured they are far outweighed by those who love what you are doing and the video's you share. You have got me into wild camping and I love watching your content so keep up the good work.

Great video Paul, one of your best showing the whole pre-camp planning bit too. Well said about the internet bullies hiding behind an avatar and a keyboard in their underpants...I didn't know a keyboard in the underpants was a thing! 🙂

Hey Paul, just something i noticed, when blowing up the sleeping pad, it is easier if you leave some distance to the blow bag. Therefore when you blow it will create a sort of air tunnel and not only your breath but more air will be pressed into the bag. Sry if not everything is spelled correct. Greetings from Berlin, love your videos and the nature!

They say that you need ten good things to compensate for every bad thing that happens, so here's a tenth of a cure for the trolls: You are one of them that gave me the courage and inspiration to start wild camping again! I just got home from my first camping + photography youtube adventure last week and I can't wait to get back out there again! So big thanks for the inspiration!!

Marcus Aurelius said 'Receive without pride, let go without attachment' or 'Do not take the slights of the day personally, or the exciting rewards and recognitions either' Cato was given control of the military fleet of the Roman Republic, during the civil war between Pompey and Caesar, but then a few days later due to protests within his inner circle, Pompey reversed the decision. It was an enormous public humiliation for Cato, but his reaction was basically nothing. He responded to the honour and dishonour the same way; with indifference and acceptance.
