I also got a left proximal locking plate on a subtrochanteric fracture a year ago and the bone hasn't healed completely yet, but as I watch this video, im crying so much given that I still can't walk straight and I'm a chronic pain patient now (all I want is for the pain to stop so I can walk straight again) my body has been compensating for the operated leg and now my whole body hurts too, I'm so sick of this. Please update me with how you are. Let's get better together.

@@kuri_star 8 months passed and still not yet healed. Doctors said that i have to re-operate and i remove the plate and screws and instead using an interlocking nail and bone graft

I have stopped doing such type of fractures......unnecessary harassment and medical litigations by the unrealistic attitude of patients...let it be INDIA or USA....One of my juniors in USA said there are far too many litigations in SURGICAL profession in USA...

As a trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon practicing in a very hostile environment i got learned that communication with the patient is of prime importance..the informed consent plays a very decissive role ...
