I like anything you upload. Your my change of pace. I like the clever name of the channel, the "spoiler break" hook, the strange satisfaction that comes from watching you solve one of these like it's easy, your accent, and that your slowly building my curiosity to play with a few puzzles, something I haven't done since I was a child ;)

My favorite so far. I like that it has relatively few moves to solve, and I especially like how seemingly impossible it appears to be solved initially. I would like to see more like this, thank you.

Commas, use them
@maidggencyherr63387 жыл бұрын
Eru Peru commas were not necessary in the statement. “Short and simple” and “Long and complex”. Short and simple go together. Long and complex go together. The “and” in between them conjoined the two individual statements together.

I like longer videos in general, so I also prefer more complicated puzzles, but the simpler ones are great as well. To be honest, just solve the ones you actually enjoy solving. If you force yourself to show us puzzles you don't really like, then you'll burn out quickly.

I really like how you slowly show how it works and describe what you are doing. The only advice I would have would be to simply show the steps again to remove and show the steps to replace. With all the movement of your hands while you are giving the explanation, I get lost. Just a quick recap (with a one second pause between steps) of each step you are taking to remove and replace the loops, with a 3 or 4 word description of the step. Thank you for taking your time to explain these to us. Your videos are always so interesting.

Have you thought about getting the Codex Silenda? It's a wooden laser cut book where you need to solve a mechanical style puzzle on that page in order to unlock it. It was a kickstarter from a year and a half ago, that's still in the works of getting all of them made, but I think that once it comes fully to the public, it'd be a great puzzle to solve.

Just a tip: When you say "target" as you do often in your videos, the word you are really looking for is "goal". A "target" is something you shoot things at. A goal can be aimed at metaphorically.
@Mr.Puzzle7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I know. But when I am talking I somehow do not remember. 😑

There are problems for which solving it repeatidly allow to grasp the very essence of the mechanics. This one is definitely not, at first it seem topologically impossible, and I would bet that even if I master how to solve it and put it back I will never really anderstand what is exactly going on.

This seems similar to having two people tied together with string and you make a loop in the string and feed it through the loop that is around the other person's wrist. You can find it here - _'Tied in Knots - QI: Episode 4 Preview - BBC Two'_ - KZbin video. Skip to the 2-minute mark.
