Contrast+ How to Paint: Genestealer Patriarch

You should try this trick sometime, I use it on every mini now. Apply your base texture/cork rocks/etc before priming. Then you just paint the base as part of the mini, I use contrast and a dry brush to paint my bases. Then you don’t have to worry about what color the texture paint is, you can paint it however you want, and you also don’t have to worry about applying texture paint carefully around a fully painted model. Anyway, just something to consider, your videos have helped me so much, maybe I can return the favor!

I always think about doing that, however doing that before the model is primed adds time at the beginning of the process rather than at the end. I'd rather wait for the base to dry and immediately edit the video rather than wait to paint the model in the first place. I might do it though it's certainly on my mind!

If they came in a few more variants I'd want all my Genestealers to be this size and the Broodlord to be the Patriarch Size and then the Hive Tyrant to be the Broodlord size. Bigger is always better right?
