Super video Sir’s ..on the pec dec you have a bend in your arms I have mine straight though I’m not a pro bodybuilder, is the bend better...Will be trying that way. Johnnies traps are mini mountains...
@notnickDPT5 жыл бұрын
Biomechanically, the more the straight your arm, the farther away the moment arm is, and the more difficult the exercise is. When the moment arm is farther away from your body, it requires more work to move. That being said, they do a lot of weight, and thay is difficult to move. Their bodies are most likely naturally compensating by lowering the moment arm - or decreasing the amount of work needed to move the weight. Hope this makes sense, I got my degree in kinesiology and one of the pillars of this study is biomechanics.

Remember when Johnny used to be one of the strongest bodybuilders around now he's struggling to get a couple of reps with 3 plates. Today's bodybuilders are moving some massive weights. Has the gear improved that much?
@paulkirk92895 жыл бұрын
Marc he’s prob cut the intensity of his training down a little now that he’s not competing in bodybuilding anymore. 7 solid reps on incline with 315 ain’t bad though.
@thomasjameswilliamson52255 жыл бұрын
He fatigued himself with the cable flies first which is probably why his bench performance took a hit. He could certainly do more if he went in fresh
@ElvisFerbeyre Жыл бұрын
He's retiring from bodybuilding, and moving 315lbs on incline for a few reps is still a massive weight for any bodybuilder. Yes today's bodybuilders use massive gear, nothing compared to these guys era. Funny how we used to think these people used a lot, when now is way even worse.
@andresmaldonado73565 жыл бұрын
In the first few seconds i realized why his traps were so massive. He activates his traps in moves that are not even supposed to be for traps. Something so many people do without realizing is using their traps to assist in other lifts and movements. It is hard to be conscientious about it but will help in strength and hypertrophy of the targeted muscle group.

@3:30 using suicide grip, what an absolute madman!
@iEatCalories15 жыл бұрын
Are you supposed to let your wrist fall back or does it need to be straight?
@notnickDPT5 жыл бұрын
So long as you have good wrist mobility, the "suicide" grip is totally fine. The dumbasses you see thay drop the barbell on their chests have zero wrist mobility and the bar had zero room on their palm so it just falls off.
@victorrubahimbya11245 жыл бұрын

Johnnie knows how to spot. the other guy clearly doesn't know how to spot another person properly. You are never supposed to just grab another man's bar like he did. You're supposed to barely touching it, supporting the bar just a little bit. Let him work through the movement on his own. Only grab the bar if the weight is too heavy and you have to save the guy from dying.
