@@pbwithjeremy I tend to do ethnic. The last two sets of guests got mostly Asian. For ex the other night I served W African Peanut soup; my own soya based Chinese stirfry (tofu & veg) with rice and crispy salad. The week before I served Ginger Hoisin Udon Noodles with Sesame Edamame, Jasmine Rice, Cucumber/Carrot Pickle. Both of those were a big hit.

It's so interesting. Induction stoves have been super popular for years here in Germany. Very few people have gas stoves. I set my oil on fire, when I first moved into my apartment. Because I was used to having time to chop my veggies until the oil was hot 😅🙈 Induction works with pretty much any type of pan, even coated ones. They just need to be suitable for induction. (which nowadays most pans sold here in Germany are)

You can use Cashews for sure - any nut will work, but cashews are mild in flavour - and honestly, it'll work with the bananas on it's own for a low fat version - the nuts just add the fatty vibe that ice cream has.

Oh my gosh, all of these look so so yum! Your fried rice recipe made me get up and try it. The grated tofu substitute is a winner, a total revelation, the perfect egg or meaty substitute. I halved the chilli powder but would suggest considering taking it out and add it as an addition later.... if you have littlies with sensitive tastes, just because it makes such a mountain of leftovers! Loved the fresher taste with just that perfect lil smack of sesame oil and the pineapple which was lovely in it. No plum sauce, however playing around with the sweet to soy ratio was easy to adjust and find replacements. I'm so stoked with this dish, thank you. Meat eating hubby really enjoyed it and looked surprised when I said there was no egg but tofu in it! Tried the cookie dough but my blender wouldnt behave and I made it too watery.... saved it with a little coconut flour and we had cacao nibs instead of choc in the house. This one was yum too! Wonder how it would bake? Thanks for all the delicious ideas Jeremy, love your channel!

@@pbwithjeremy Aw thanks for that, but to be honest my coconut flour addition to save watery cookie dough didn't work so well.... so absorbent and spongy that stuff. I should've used oat flour, but it did make half decent baked 'somethings '😁 ... with cocoa added and slightly undercooked they came out as little fudgy bites. Nothing like your yum original but it's def a creative process this vegan lark. Fun times.

Alright - so for the soy/tofu for the fried rice use green lentils - season them the same way I did witih the tofu here. ... for the ricotta.... umm.... I mean try a non soy tofu? Never done it but maybe it'll work?..... And for the banana - totally just use any other frozen fruit! Enjoy! No coy tears!
