Mama isn't what America is all about. This is an ignorant thing to say. She's what mothers and grandmothers around the world are all about. What she does isn't just an American thing. America doesn't have the monopoly on this. The women in my family were no different...and they were immigrants from Eastern Europe. Unless Mamaw is 100% indigenous North American...her people came from somewhere else too. What you said minimises women around the world who take care of their families. Mamaw would probably agree w/ me. Your gun comment is dumb too. Disgraceful of you to thank God for guns. Grow up.

Hi Margaret, glad you found the powdered buttermilk! I've been using it now for about two years. What I do to make it easier is just put the powder in with the flour and pour the water in after I mix the two together. It saves time and you don't have to actually mix it in the water. You get the same results.

I'm 69 years old and I learned to cook from my Mammaw. I still love to cook. Especially like making breads. I learned to make Sour dough starter. And I started making sour dough bread. And English muffins my favorite. I totally enjoyed yaws video. I certainly appreciate You're manners and the appreciation to your contributors. I thought it was most appreciated. I was taught To be nice and kind to others. Tell Mommaw to keep up the good work. She's a great teacher. I enjoyed watching her It brought back old memories. Of me in the kitchen with my Mammaw. I've used the powdered buttermilk for years because you just never know when you're going to have some bananas that need to be made into banana nut bread. I'm 62 and have still never ever made biscuits from scratch. I need to try. You are making me feel more confident. Love your video's you two. Thanks for doing these.

Hello Margaret and Corey, I just happened to discover your channel this week here in California ( the San Francisco Bay Area ) and I love “y’all”!! I’ve been catching up on a lot of your previous broadcasts and I’m afraid I might get fat from watching “Mamaw” make all those fabulous recipes. It’s so refreshing to see folks acknowledge the Lord on any media these days and you folks do it so well. You grace and the planet 🙏♥️😇! I couldn’t wait to bring my smart phone over to my sister in laws house and show her your channel. We ate dinner while we watched you ‘cause we got hungry watching. We love all the chickens and that cutie pie “little missy” collecting the eggs. You guys are great😻 We’re gonna keep on watching, and THANK YOU for all you do including spreading GODS WORD!

I used to watch my granny make these biscuits but she did them a little bit different. She made a well in the middle of her wooden bowl and then she poured “clabbered” milk (buttermilk that she made from powdered milk) and a little hot grease in it then mix it up by turning the bowl and incorporating it together. She would pinch the biscuits off then roll them and put them on the baking pan. I love your voices and your character. Just found this channel tonight. Such a sweet blessing! God bless you all!

I started using the powdered buttermilk about two years ago. It was hard to find, but I think enough shoppers started requesting it and now Walmart keeps it in stock. Hail and a heartfelt hello from central Texas. Mamaw!?!! I used to call my grandma Mamaw! How absolutely blessed is this? Her name was Annie May and her claim to fame was pure southern cooking. No one could ever match her fried chicken and biscuits! I tried but always fell short! Sweet blessings to Mamaw!

I just found your channel. I love it. My husband died 21 years ago in my kitchen. I haven’t spent a lot of time in there since. I’m a new grandma now. I want my grandsons to have good memories from my kitchen. So I’m back in the kitchen again. I can tell you, I’ve got to relearn how to cook. It’s not like riding a bicycle. You don’t pick it up where you left off. I’m cooking again, and enjoying watching my children and grandchildren at my table. It’s the best feeling ever. God bless all of you.

I love the way you make those biscuits ! I've never seen anyone put sour cream in their biscuits . Also , I did not know that there was powdered buttermilk . 😊 And I have never seen anyone take a portion of dough to make one biscuit at a time . Thank you !

Yes I use sour cream before too I use unsalted butter tho there are other variations one can use in making homemade biscuits! But that buttermilk is a game changer ! Really enhances the flavor a lot!

Hey mawmaw! I found Hudson Cream flour at Food Lion here in Walkertown N.C. I have to say its the best flour I've ever used! It's so so soft. I used your biscuit technique & I just love it! I made them today & it's the best I ever did. I will always make my biscuits that way along with using Hudson Cream like you! They should sponsor you, it's good marketing, you made me want to go buy some & I did ha! Now thats all I'll ever use! ! Thank you so much love your videos & your teachings of God's words ❤️

Your so sweet. I just began watching your videos. Meatloaf and the biscuits. I hope that you are blessed with millions of viewers. I’ll continue watching be blessed. I am in Georgia for 43 years now but I’m originally from a town called Hamtramck, Michigan. It’s not far from Hazel Park. My Mom moved up there to Detroit her family did the same thing as you did. They went north to get work. Mom retired from Chrysler and my Dad retired from General Motors. It tickled me to hear you are from or rather lived around my stomping grounds. Be blessed. 💜🌼♥️🌸💙🌺

You're clear across the states. I live in Washington State. The biscuits look real good. Looks like a easy recipe to follow. I am going to make them when I can get money to get to the store and buy the buttermilk powder. I remember when my mom used to just throw the biscuits together. Just like she could sew a dress without a pattern. I came from a large family we lived off the land gardening fruit trees berries wild rubarb. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

🥦🟦 hey y'all ❤ I've been using dry butter milk since the 90's. I just mix the dry buttermilk with the dry ingredients and water with the liquid ingredients. I started using sour cream in my biscuits then, too. My kids, who are now grown, love them best. We cook very much alike. I live in southern WV, too.

Hello from South Alabama. This is my first time seeing one of your videos and I truly enjoyed it. I make biscuits almost the same way except I've never used powdered buttermilk either. Definitely going to tho. I look forward to watching more of your videos and I'm so very thankful to know that you speak about our Lord on them. I am a 67 yr old widow. My sweetheart passed away on the 17th of May, this year. And I am on disability. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis as well as needing hip replacement surgery. But, I walk in faith and claim my healing. My daddy was an evangelist and so to find other Christians in here, is a blessing. God bless you and your family always. Your sister in Christ , Donna Carter
