I waited for six hours that day during one of the coldest winters in the streets of Hell's Kitchen. It was totally worth it! He has a lot of soul in his voice that is genuine. It comes from a place in your mind that has a lot of feeling. He is able to express it, but it does take a toll on your emotions. It is a very personal thing to sing like this in front of strangers. Many musicians are introverts. Some are able to escape the venue and live within themselves during a performance. Some of them cannot and they sit up their dying inside. Chris is one of the greatest singers we have ever known. There is another. Look up Ann Wilson of Heart. They became friends. It was bound to happen. Their souls are much the same.
