Another question, do you have any vibrations (especially at lower speeds)? I believe my cv axles are vibrating after lifting it. I thought that they would be fine with only 40mm spacers. Car has had an alignment at Les Schwab. Cv axles are not damaged, no play in axles, although I think they’re the originals. What would you recommend for a solution? Thanks :)

No, my car drives perfectly. Just like it did before the lift. If your CVs have alot of miles, id bet you need to change them even if the boots are not worn.

I have the same corolla and I want to lift it up to use as a side by side. have you taken this off road any? What size tires did you use?
@gagefixeseverything2 ай бұрын
I use it for gambler 500 events offroad as well as a backup daily driver. If you are going to use it offroad, replace all the struts with the best quality you can afford or they will blow out after just a few days of offroad use. Better yet, swap for coilovers. I use pretty small tires, 185/70r14, but you can go up to 225/70r15 without any cutting. The issue is the lack of power from these cars. With the Auto trans, they are gutless. A cheap side by side will blow any road car out of the water in terms of offroad comfort and usability. With that said, you should definitely lift your Corolla...

@@gagefixeseverything I already have the corolla, don't have a side by side. I think I can lift it and make it functional for what I need much less expensive than buying a side by side. I need to carry a chainsaw and tools around the property on logging roads and hunting trails. I think the corolla can do it.

Does this ruin the suspension long term?
@gagefixeseverything3 ай бұрын
No, it is still within the factory travel actually. If you go too high, the passenger Cv axle will hit the sub frame though. I daily drive this setup actually haha!

How did you resolve the brake line interference issue in the front? Trying to lift the same Corolla rn and don’t know how to relocate the lines. Thank you!
@gagefixeseverything4 ай бұрын
I cut the line keepers and bent them out of the way. I'll do an update video soon!

@@gagefixeseverything please do! Trying to figure out what the best solution is for brake lines. Also how did the alignment go after the lift? I test fitted the lift kit and I have a lot of positive camber in the front (kept the oem springs and struts). Thanks!

Hows the ride ?
@gagefixeseverything7 ай бұрын
I changed the front struts because they were cheapos, and it rides great now. Same as stock pretty much. Just finished a 650mile gambler 500

What size tire are you running
@gagefixeseverything3 ай бұрын
185/70r14 currently, but can fit 225/70r15. I have stuck with the smaller tires for now because of how powerless these engines are.

Haha I have a 94 definitely need to do this to mine
