Lt Arrigo deserves a promotion for his ability to calmly and respectfully serve the public. Not because he did anything extra ordinary, but because the ordinary behavior shines so brightly above all those around him, and is much more difficult when you're surrounded by people who think 'public service' means ordering others around, or that they're above the public. In any private line of work, just performing the basic function of your job does not warrant promotion, but unfortunately, in government it is considered an exceptional level of performance.

@Scorpio1168 I would agree with you there, training facilities and education provided needs to be investigated. However, it always amazes me that particularly the police in these sort of videos, who swear an oath to the constitution, can't even remember the first one! Fair enough you might forget some of the intricacies of some amendments...but to not know the very first one I think goes beyond poor training and is more behaviour driven.

Dufus, trespass is a law from the legislature and the first amendment does NOT allow someone to commit trespass. The Supreme Court ruled that back in 1966. Learning the law comes from research and not watching KZbin videos!
@wrcummingsАй бұрын
@@Chloe-nh6oj You omitted what kind of a decision it was. Was it unanimous or split decision. Was it 8/1, 1/8, 7/2, 2,7, - 5/4? Even the most thoroughly vetted lawyers in the world on US LAW give split decisions. Some have to be wrong and they’re the top dogs. It’s planned obfuscation. And why? Answer: This quote by Dr. Jordan Peterson, “It’s way better, if you want to exercise power over people, to never let them be sure which policies they’re violating .” The 1st Amendment is a restraining order against the government (also the other amendments) it is also established law in LIA’s Judicial District that a camera cannot be deemed suspicious. The Supremacy Clause also prohibits the government from using trespass to negate or infringe on the first amendment if he is not breaking the law by videoing from a place the public is allowed. He can video what can be seen.

@@sandiecheeks73 yes, he hears some moron on another video claiming there is a constitutional right to record, or you can’t trespass your eyes, or the public cannot be trespassed without a crime, and they repeat it over and over thinking it’s the law when in reality they don’t have any understanding of what they are saying. @@sandiecheeks73 no, I’m saying that these grifters are playing a good game of FAFO! Most places shoo away these iPhone idiots like they are pests but every once in awhile you get one that doesn’t put up with it and people get arrested and convicted. Denver Metro Audit just left a state prison for two weeks after recording inside a Social Security office. He not only lost his trial but an appeal as well. The simple fact is the U.S. Supreme Court ruled decades before these kids were born that there is no constitutional right to record inside a government facility. That’s why we can’t record in all U.S. courthouses, and places like DMVs, school houses, tax offices, and Social Security offices. Even Sean has at least one criminal conviction for trespassing in a city hall when he was recording.
