That's good feedback, thanks. The end bit was going to have music but I gave up looking for decent royalty-free music and it had been recorded without sound.

They're just parts I wasn't using, or borrowed from other rigs. I mentioned I'd like an Asus Sabertooth mobo in the video. The graphics cards LEDs turn red under use. Thanks for the support.

I've never used an Arc midi, the case in my previous vids is the Arc MINI. In the mini the top cage is removable and the bottom one isn't. however if you really want it removed you could drill the rivets out.

I do test the hardware I review when possible. I tested the fans in the early videos, no point in testing cases as people change the fans anyway, and I couldn't test the PSU or waterblock due to lack of equipment. I'm not getting paid anything to make these videos and money's tight. The website is in the design stages but I just don't see me having time to do written reviews as well. Thanks for giving feedback though, it's always welcomed.

I have a 600T as well. I prefer the C70 but I do miss having the huge space behind the mobo for cables that the 600T gives you because of it's curved side panels.

I bought my C70 Q3 of last year. When I was researching cases, I came across this vid which is what clenched it for me. You are very informative and thorough. So, thank you!!
@TastyPC

Agreed, but I don't get to choose the components I use in each build. I have to make-do with what I already have. I only had a single red LED strip so that's what I used. I asked for red cables as the theme I use most is black/red so they were the best to have. The green C70 would look amazing with a black/green theme though.

Saw one of your videos for the first time and got so suprised by the quality that i went and watched all of your videos and subscribed soon after. I think they are all of very very good, but the thing that strikes me the most is seeing and hearing the change in your confidence and how comfortable you have become infront of the camera in just so few videos. I think you are a realy great reviewer and if you keep being yourself and honest i think you have a great future:) keep up the good work!

It should be noted that this case is modeled after a military weapons canister, hence the military green color. I have this case with an Asus Sabertooth 990 FX which is a perfect match. The sabertooth is colored in military colors as well and military graded components along with a certification warranty unique to it for long lasting. Looks amazing.

@@MrYendor65 Here in 2024. I rocked the Sabertooth 990 FX 2.0 until 2017 when a friend gave me his old 4770K to go in my desktop and the motherboard with it. It was a decent mid-range system in 2012, but it did not hold up well. It's one of the many reasons I abandoned AMD after 2017 and still have not bought an AMD product since. They are miles better in the CPU space now than they were in 2012 and 2013 but sadly AMD promised better CPUs and support for AM3+ and never delivered. All they gave us were the 9590 and the 9370 which were just severely overclocked and high TDP 8350s. They still struggled to match Intel's single-threaded performance in 2013. The Sabertooth 990 FX was a $250 motherboard when I purchased it. Money that could have been better spent on a basic ATX Intel board for $70 and a 4790K instead of the 8350 and the Sabertooth. I am still feeling burned because I was stuck with that build for half a decade and the CPU really struggled to perform a lot of basic tasks and was a massive disappointment in CPU intensive games, performance wise because back then, most games were still only using 1-2 cores, so actual IPC was what was important and not core count and it's why Intel was beating AMD to death in the CPU market until they released Ryzen which still took some time to catch on.

To me this is still one of the best Corsair cases made even though there are downsides to it. Back then in 2012 however I went with the TT Level10 GTS due to size constraints.

The C70 doesn't fit a 360 in the roof without modiing. The top grill isn't wide enough. It is possible to mod a H100i/H80i pump and people have done it, but personally it's not worth the hassle. Go for a Swiftech H220 pump/block for that sort of thing.

I really liked this review. You seem to be amongst the best video case reviewers on youtube. I loved how you went through the case methodically and got all the design features, and stated your oppinion on them and how they were implemented. A suggestion for improvement in later case reviews would possibly be to detatch all removable parts and talk a bit about what you think of it then. The example here would be removing the lower 3,5" drive cage (or possibly both), and test with a small PSU too.

Its good to see somebody that seems to actually use and understand the products they review rather than just more unboxing and "I think this may allow you too.." style comments, good video. On a slightly darker note its a bit of a shame the audio isn't better quality, it seems to be a bit "boomy" and max out at times, so your probably either talking to quietly or to far from the microphone (lower frequencies carry better, hence to close is wind noise, to far is to louder low frequencies).
@gulllars
@gulllars 12 жыл бұрын
Also, i like your commentary on design and style. I'm more of a function over looks type of guy (hence my HAF-X), but i like to hear the style perspective of cases too, and not too many reviewers go into that beyond superficial esthetics. I also liked how you went a bit deeper into the looks of the fans when you reviewed them. I think a segment on style and design in reviews can be something that separates you in a positive way from other reviewers. (but still with substance in the reviews ofc)

I was really hoping to learn how noisey the pc would be, so I was disappointed that for that part of the review, you switched the sound off ! Subscribed anyway an well done, you are a great reviewer so no need to keep putting yourself down
@basscadet75
@basscadet75 10 жыл бұрын
Any PC is going to be as noisy or as quiet as you make it depending on the fans. Noise is kind of a BS benchmark for cases; just use quiet fans, or fewer of them. If you're a huge OCer or you're running 4 graphics cards (which you can do in this case), then your rig is going to be loud. So I understand why she turned the sound off.
@CustomComputing
@CustomComputing 12 жыл бұрын
wow, I thought the case was hideous, until you had it with all the cables and the red lights glowing. The case is a 5/10 and your cable management is about a 8.5-9! the colouring of red LED's and the red with the camo ended up being a great Idea! you have amazing taste and good work on your first case review! you really need to review other companies soon, corsair is decent, but would like to see others

Good stuff! You're a unique hardware reviewer. Most women in tech videos are just posing, looking pretty and reading stuff they don't quite understand off of some screen or a piece of paper. Seeing you tinkering with this case is really refreshing and enjoyable and here's my suggestion - do some hardware installing on camera and don't be afraid to improvise and show your personality. Guys will love you and their girlfriends will hate you (which is a good sign :-) )! Keep the reviews coming!

Very good review. Keep up the good work. I have a few suggestions for the future. 1.Explain, and show all the extras that come with the case.Its nice to know what's included. 2.You should also show taking the front panel off, so people can see if its a real pain or not. This is a review. Good or bad, it all counts.The front panel does not come off without both side panels removed.This might be a deal breaker for certain people.

Good review, covered most of the bases very well. Would have liked to see some double checking on the spacing between the fan mount holes for the 140mm fans to see if they fit the standard radiator spacing before claiming a 2x140mm rad would fit, as they looked like they may have been different spacing from the 120mm. Keep it up, look forward to the next video!

might i recommend adding that the majority of builders don't like the mesh style window. it is easily changeable to a solid piece of plexiglass. the window is just held in by screws that screw into the plastic black bezel on the outside of the case. so it really is a easy fix. Oh and you cable management is better than most i have seen. keep up the good work. PS i am trying to get into doing reviews. i also watch every review from as many reviewers as i can on an item to be completely informed on the product before buying. Again GREAT JOB on your first case review.

I have this case in white and so far I have only found two problems with it, first is the dust filters at the bottom are really loose, they come out so easily. The other is the power and reset buttons, it takes a decent amount of force to actually press them, not enough that it's difficult, but its a lot more than it should be to press a button. Other than that, it's an amazing case, so glad I got it.
