I think there’s an argument to be made that he’s become stable and mentally strong by the end of ragnorok. The one thing that could ruin Kratos here is endurance: the Slayer survived because he is tireless and literally sustained by killing demons, while Kratos can still get tired and would need to stop fighting at some point. Sure the vast majority of demons would be no issue for him and no single demon could beat him, but in the long run Kratos would fall from having to fight nonstop for eons without a chance to rest.

Speaking of Kratos' "fatigue" It is explicitly clear that he gets "tired" only when it involves Atreus. During the cutscene you showed in the video, Atreus was in danger and Kratos couldn't reach him in any way, he hasn't felt that helpless for centuries - THAT'S what "tired" him and he had to "rest" to boost his motivation. If we hypothetically put Kratos inside Hell and Atreus is somewhere safe outside of that dimension (and as we know Kratos reconciled with the idea of Atreus being on his own adventures by the end of Ragnarök, so his concerns regarding his son's safety CANNOT drag him down), he WOULD NEVER GET "TIRED". Mimir himself said that he saw Kratos awake for DAYS without a single sign of exhaustion. And while it doesn't sound as epic as YEARS stated by you, you have to keep in mind that these games never really showed Kratos do any "human" activities such as sleeping, eating or let alone defecating/urinating before last few installments, so you could always ASSUME Kratos DOESN'T REALLY NEED SLEEP, NUTRITION OR "RELEASE". And regarding mind control... Kratos has NEVER HAD HIS MIND CONTROLLED. His guilt and PTSD over his past ≠ his mental strength being LOW. On the contrary, him bearing such weight FOR CENTURIES proves he is MENTALLY RESILIENT. But I digress. You cannot really say that Kratos would get mind controlled by the Dark Lord or whatever his name is, because Kratos was neither never shown to faced such enemies or succumbing to them. You could only "strawman" Heimdall here, who couldn't "read" Kratos' mind, but it's a stretch, I'd say. So in the end, the only "weakness" I'd see is him being in a vacuum of space. We have no information how he'd deal with something similar to this. But to be honest... would Doomslayer survive without his suit and helmet? I am not knowledgeable enough on DOOM lore, but I highly doubt it.

Most of Kratos weapons being infused with magic also helps him. Hint normal axes don't fly back to the user. Nor do normal axes freeze their targets or have two slots for Runic Attacks to be placed in, a heavy and light attack for each slot. Oh just a note the Leviathan was infused with the echoing screams of twenty frost trolls (give or take) . Meaning it's a magical weapon like pretty much every other weapon he has. The axe has several runes inscribed on the blade that grants it different powers, among them the use of ice, and the ability to recall the weapon from any distance. It also has two slots for Runic Attacks to be placed in, a heavy and light attack for each slot. The Axe Pommel is customizable with pommels found throughout the Realms or bought from Brok and Sindri. During Kratos' journey to spread Faye's ashes, he encounters Brok and Sindri, who each upgrade the axe, improving its magic and attack strength. Upon bringing one of the brothers a Frozen Flame, the axe can be further upgraded, increasing the size of the blade and adding ornate gold to the blade and handle. By the events of Ragnarök, the effects of Fimbulwinter had caused the Leviathan Axe, along with the Blades of Chaos, to revert to its original form. However, like before, the Huldra Brothers (and later on, Lúnda) were able to upgrade it with the use of Frozen Flames. That link also includes the Blades of Chaos which he uses in Ragnarök. I think the most likely character to survive in Hell is Steve from Minecraft. Steve is capable of surviving the vaccum of space (the End dimention) and Hell (the Nether). He is capable of crafting its own tools from hell's materials (netherite), growing infinite food using a berry bush, a dirt block and bones. He can also carry entire planets and only needs to sleep when on Earth. Now he have a clear lack of weaponry and physical strenght. But a redstone build can do anything, and an arrow propelled at twice the speed of light will kill a titan with ease.

That would definitely be the deciding factor. Kratos could definitely survive physically, and definitely dominate, but if he's not immune to the Dark Lord's mental manipulations or the spiritual corruption of the Hell dimension, he's screwed.

And if he does manage to survive, he won't be able to heal those wounds as argent energy contains wraith energy. Demons corrupt life with a touch. In the third age, a highly advanced civilization fought a demonic invasion, and their greatest warrior, one with an iron will, unbreakable, fought the demons, but one touch from a higher demon broke his will. That brings me to higher demons- they all are infused with argent energy, and thus have such high durability that conventional weapons can't harm them, have infinite power, and can instantly heal from any wound, even death if there is still argent energy or hell essence to use. The slayer kills them permanently by absorbing their energy and essence, but even then, as long as their body is not completely destroyed, they just need hell essence to come back to life. And hell is full of hell essence. Higher demons such as the archphiles which are pretty common, can resurrect all demons near them. Many higher demons have extremely powerful mental and psychic abilities, capable of inducing hallucinations, mental attacks, corruption, possession, and can command lower demons to attack with great intelligence. Even many lesser demons have deadly abilities, like explosion upon death, invisibility, teleportation, etc. If kratos faces lesser demons, he will get killed if he makes a single mistake, that's assuming he knows what the demons do, which to be honest isn't gonna happen. If higher demons join the fray, he won't last for long no matter what he does. A leviathan class demon would take care of him single handedly. A titan Or elder demon kill him the second they start fighting, and an arch demon would just kill him with their presence.

He isn't going to have any luck or saving in hell. His soul will be damaged just as much as his body, he won't be able to heal, and dont tell me that kratos will just magically come back to life when his soul and body are utterly destroyed. Higher demons have infinite power. Kratos does not. And lower demons can easily kill him if their attacks land.

Kratos would be able to achieve what Doomguy achieved. He would not only survive, he would be able to kill a Titan. The reason the Titan died is because it was assaulted and punched until the meat, organs and blood were stripped from the bones. The tissue being "ripped and torn" off the body until the body was damaged beyond recovery.

Titans according to lore, can instantly heal from any wound. The icon resurrected around 4-6 times after being "permanently" Killed.

Kratos, whilst absolutely amazing, is just so overhyped. The gods in god of war are just extremely powerful humans. They offer to extraordinary hacks like creation or show any signs of omnipotence. Unlike dooms lore. Davoth created the entire doom universe that comes with all of its dimensions. The maykr god mind matrix also literally states the slayer in every possible scenario in every single possible timeline and universe he cannot be stopped and is literally inevitable. Its literally in game lore

So Kratos can drown, but so can doomguy. In the ancient gods part 1, doomguy can drown in the underwater section, which shows his suit doesn't have an infinite amount of oxygen in his suit, yet he can survive forever in space. It's most likely just a game mechanic more than lore, so I imagine Kratos could also prance around in the cosmos.

I don't think that it is exactly true that Kratos wouldn't be able to resist attacks on his mental state. Is he vulnerable to it? Yes, but he also has experience with being attacked in such a way and he has a level of distrust for the word of Gods of a higher intensity than even The Doom Slayer. The idea that the Dark Lord, Devoth, could dissuade him with mental attacks in an attempt to corrupt him, is highly unlikely. Considering that while the Doom Slayer was still a mere mortal he was able to resist Devoth's corrupting influence. The Doom Slayer may be the rarest exception to Devoth's influence but he was still a mortal before being subjected to the divinity machine. This a testament to the level of strength Devoth puts into his ability to corrupt minds. Kratos on the other hand, was born a demigod, a son of Zeus, and made a true God inorder to sit at the thrown of the God of War, by Athena. His very nature makes him uniquely resistant to attacks ment to corrupt the minds of mortals. Devoth has only ever had to deal with corrupting the minds of mortals and the Angles he himself created. It would be an entirely new challenge for Devoth to mount an attack on the mind of another God (outside of that of the Doom Slayer), let alone a Kratos who has been hardening himself to way more focused and arguably more effective attacks on his mind from Athena, an ascended Goddess of Wisdom, for a millennia. I'd argue that Kratos would be able to survive in Hell just fine, only his motivation would be the deciding factor of whether or not he would even face off against Devoth. Kratos would only ever fight Devoth if he threatened someone Kratos cared about, like Atreas. Otherwise Kratos would only concern himself with finding away back to his home in Midgard, not killing everything in Hell endlessly like the Doom Slayer. Considering Hell has a mixture of many different worlds and technologies infused in it, Kratos would most likely be able find away back home after some searching, if not that than I can totally see Devoth offering to send Kratos home himself inorder to rid himself of a Kratos and what ever havoc he would be wreaking in Hell, something Devoth would have surely done with The Doom Slayer if The Doom Slayer didn't have such a hate boner for Devoth.

So he would be able to survive to an certain extent. I tell you directly the doom slayer is way more powerful, feats and lore include so no they are not equal. He would be able to beat some demon but have difficulty with fireborn baron and arch-vile, well it would be difficult if he have to touch them because it's likely to be lava and it seem that Gods can be affected by lava. Also the doom hunter and the marauder will be a huge challenge for him- i mean the doom hunter have missile, bullet, something like a rocket launcher, a chainsaw, energetic shield that can take a lot of damage. The marauder have an argent energy Shield and axe, an supershotgun and can summon a hellhound. Both of them are literally hunter but the marauder is likely the most dangerous opponent. About the khan maykr or samur maykr, i honestly don't know but for the icon of sin or davoth yeah no he die. The icon is a titan that can only be stop with the crucible and he grows stronger each second he stay on earth. So no i don't think kratos even equipped with the sword of olympus wouldn't be able to kill this titan. And davoth ? Oh yeah he not powerless, he do have power but it's most likely hell energy and his mech suit ? It should be the same as the praetor suit that is able to resist a rayon that can open portal between dimension, a flow of raw argent energy, vega and the argent tower explosion that sent him directly into hell. So can kratos damage the mech suit ? Nope ! He never show any type of feats like that. Garm likely have more chance to damage it.

The real question is. If Kratos knew Atreus was outside of hell, or was in danger INSIDE hell, what would he then become or do. If it was about escaping/surviving hell for Atreus. Thats a different story. And if you remove Atreus out of the equation. He would know he'd have no choice but to become the God of War again to survive, and he could permit himself from doing so, seeing as how there is no innocent soul in hell, he would not need to feel remorse for anything.
