Those are called -- Easter eggs. And they very common back in the old days, in almost most games, there were tons of Easter eggs referencing and homaging various other games, shows, books etc. Like in Fallout 1 or 2 (strange encounters included Dr. Who, Monty Python, A Hitchhiker guide to Galaxy and many more). An art lost to most modern games.

In Super Gore nest level, When you Overload the reactor for Blasting , The message appears as Mission "Get to the Choppa" its perfect Nod for 1987 Classic Movie "Predator" .. Fun fact - if you intentionally avoid picking up the plasma gun in Exultia, it will appear again early in the Doom Hunter Base level. If you skip it there, it will automatically be added to your weapons list during the cutscene on Mars Core where he takes it from a UAC guard. I know this because I tested it myself. I was curious if taking it from the guard actually added it to the player's loadout.

In all or many levels, you can find Doomguy’s rabbit Daisy. You can play Doom 1 and Doom 2 in the fortress of doom. (I forgot the passcode lol) When they say to call 666 for a emergency call in game. 666 is usually known as the underworlds phone number.

DOOM 2016 and Eternal make me SO angry for the state of the gaming industry - those games ran, for me, FLAWLESSLY from day 1, when most other games are glitchfests. I've given my Doom Eternal plays a shore leave & in place of that, I'm watching VTubers play doom Eternal. One of them was killing daisy bnuuys until one went hell beast mode & dishes an Omniverse sized canned food factory sized ass kicking & the next just exploded & killed the VTuber instantly at 200 health & armor. And it was a laugh riot. Daisy went *_ragequit.exe_* in the most kamikaze way possible. Though it crashed her computer, she restarted her Apex PC (I suggested she used your code in a past Apex PC sponsored video & she's proud as all hell of it's performance) & resumed where the game would leave off at the most recent save spot.
