What an absolutely incredible album. Sworn to Silence is one of the highlights for me. The chord progression/riff (idk guitar language) they used in the chorus is so well done RIP Kuma 💔

Somehow it took me until maybe a year ago to really dive into Counterparts' music, but in that time I've been a huge fan. I can't wait to sit down and listen to this all the way through

Same here. Nothing Left to Love popped up on my recommend and was looking for something new to listen to, so I decided to give this a shot. Have enjoyed everything else. Definitely prefer their cleaner stuff, especially on NLTL, but this album looks promising thus far (haven't got the chance to sit down for all of it yet.)

@@stephaneficara4501 if you like like alternative grunge Cleopatrick is sick, it’s just a guitarist and a drummer and they’re very good highly recommend anything off of the ‘Bummer’ album and or their song Hometown, all great work. Bilmuri is Johnny Franck from Attack Attacks project. Very sick! It’s like Pop Indie music with sick breakdowns.

I just put down my little Old man Oscar 2 days ago. He was a pug i rescued and he was the sweetest little dog ever. He had literal tears coming out of his eyes at the park watching his last sunset and in the room waiting to be injected which i have never seen him cry before. It was so surreal. My heart is still broken. Also crazy my other dogs name is Kuma. I feel the pain hes going through 💔.

That's brutal. We had a scare with our cat recently and it's amazing how attached we can get to animals. All I can say is I'm sorry and I hope you feel better with time 🙏

Yea Brendan was going through a lot between the last album and this one. A breakup and his cat passing away. You can really tell in the lyrics and his delivery. He just gave it ALL.

Choruses aren't rare in their music, but clean singing is. I don't think we've ever had as much clean singing as we have here. Eulogy, Skin Beneath a Scar and this song are all full of cleans
