I love your channel so much. You’re living a dream that my late wife and I dreamed of. We bought 20 acres in northern Arizona in 2013 dreaming of living away from it all, but then our oldest son died suddenly and my beloved wife of 35 yrs went into a place that led to her death less than 10 months later. Our dream is over but watching your family has been so inspiring, your hard work has reaped so much for your family. The way you work together as a family is truly amazing. Godspeed

I agree WWOG and Alaska Simple Living are both great channels. The personality of the couples, the work they do and the fun they have while doing it. Some of my other favs are Chateau de Montmagner, Talasbuan or Green Dream Project. Very different settings, great couples. I am sooo looking forward to what all those channels will achieve 2021 (including GSL of course)

You two are a hoot. Your chemistry makes this channel. Do you have a scrap dealer to take the metal? Most of my steel is sold to a scrapper. I don't make much. But, it's better than a landfill. I built a similar stairway. Running a quarter round bit with a router down the hand rails. Made them much more comfortable to use.

I'll bet that "cheerful" sign could have been saved with a little angle grinding on the backside. Cast iron is likely held together with some kind of hammered hot rivet holding it in place. Priorities... Does a section of rail come off for loading with the bucket?
