Many people don't know this so want to share. INSURE your house NOW while you are in the process of building. That way IF something happens you are covered. You can lay 2" x 12" x 12' boards on the forks to better support long boards when transporting. A large engineer's sledge hammer is often called a "persuader". Joists need bridging to keep them ridgid. Usually there is a code or instructions that specifies the spacing of bridging(aka diaphragms). It's easier and safer to put the bridging in before the floor. What is the stud spacing of the knee walls? They don't seem to match the joist spacing. BTW my grandparents were from Sweden, they never pronounced "Js" the way we do. You're making good progress. Good Luck, Rick
