I am so very proud of you all. And I love ya'll like you are my own. I just want you to know how much I look forward to seeing all of you. And finally, the music you choose is so wonderful. I've noticed that from the very beginning. Living vicariously from Indiana, my 66 year old heart is so full of good wishes and prayers for your sweet family. It's so amazing all you have accomplished in your lives and especially in the short time you've been in Idaho.

Melissa you have a lovely voice and how you value your family and what they mean to you is lovely. I hope you all enjoyed seeing your family and spending time together and that you said it was a year ago that you came to the property and look what you have both achieved in that year, a tiny house you completed, three lambs born, built a chicken coop etc etc. Not to mention Neveah helping with the household chores and the little ones all pitching in. What a lovely family you have not to mention of course Jeremy who with you, the banter, the joking, the little belt snacks, victory dances, and ads that you play out make our day. Thank you for sharing your journey and I am sure you had a lovely Easter.

Question: Do you think it might be time to build a ramp, or a set of stairs to get on & off the house? I'm surprised you haven't done something already. You'll likely have difficulty finishing this house if either of you get hurt jumping down all the time. Let's just say, I'm speaking from experience. 🤪

I love the ending dialogue Melissa does. I’ve built a number of structures in my 60 years and every episode I wish I was there helping. Enjoy those kiddos, time will slip away and they will leave the nest, but I know they will take with them great memories but more than that, the love you both have for each other and them will last a lifetime.

Our house kit came with a rough framing book. In that book it describes techniques, practices and time for the different tasks required for framing a house. I read the sub-floor section to get whatever information I could, because I also do not know what I'm doing. The book said that a good flooring guy can do a couple of houses in a day. That lead me to believe that my wife and I would be capable of getting it done in one day. We very quickly discovered that was wrong! It took us about a week to get it finished. I think like Jeremy; it'll be quick. I've now learned that I need to double the time I think it will take, then double it again. I hope you had a great Easter with your family.

That subflooring is amazing. Took 12 months to build our home and it rained ALL THE TIME!! This is flooring was amazing. After all was said and done, there were 2 pieces that were laid out on the mud to provide access for the workers! They did not warp or swell or anything. In fact, my husband rescued them from the dump trailer and we used them for workbenches in the barn we just built. They are so level, flat and stiff that we didn’t need anything on top. We pressure washed them before using them to build the benches! Perfect! Well worth the money considering that we have no squeaks or uneven floors after all the rain even after 2 years here. Good choice!

Being able to set the wood up on top of the nailed down sub floor sure saved you all a lot of time and energy with moving one sheet at a time. Awesome! I still say you two are getting a lot done when you take into consideration all your other chores and responsibilities. I especially like your comments at the end of the video................faith and family always come first. God Bless You All!

Use the tractor to raise the sheets to just above floor level. Humping them will be soooo much easier
