@@ACoupleReactions As you watch/ listen to more music from Pink Floyd, you will see that they were a special group of talented and creative musicians whose music is on a different level. Every song from the 1994 Pulse Concert is excellent. Their live performance in Pompeii in 1971 was a trip: the band members were all in their 20s then. At Pulse, they are around 50. In 2016, at age 70, lead guitarist and singer David Gilmour went back to Pompeii to perform 45 years after the first visit to Pompeii. Gilmour is now 78 and has a new album coming out in September.

Greetings back from Miami! I was fortunate to be at the first show that kicked off this tour 30 years ago, March 30 1994, Joe Robbie stadium, Miami Gardens Florid And then one day you find thirty years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Well done for noticing the similarity to the song “Breathe”. In fact, the song "Time" ends with these lyrics: "The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say". The rest of the song is called: "Breathe Reprise", which begins with the lyrics: "Home, home again".

Pink Floyd is on another level all together, no band like them, they are one of the greatest Rock bands ever. Formed in London in 1964, they have sold hundreds of millions of albums worldwide. Their Epic "The Dark Side Of The Moon" album released in 1973, is considered by Rock Critics and fans alike as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, album of all time! This Pulse concert in 1994 has some of the greatest music performances one will ever see, or hear, including some astonishing visual effects, ie lighting, lasers, etc. Pink Floyd is known for incredible live performances.

Nice to meet you! Maybe a midpoint between your musical preferences is the song "Sorrow", from the same Pulse concert. You should check it out, it's yet another jewel in this '94 show 😊

You are absolutely correct, the end portion of this song is actually a reprise of Breathe, basically the last verse of Breathe.. The reason to listen straight through, is that the album Dark Side Of The Moon is 10 tracks, but actually, it plays as one long song with 10 sections.

" Pulse 1994' ( saw 5 times) song written in 1973. 14 days in a row sold out. ( their last). 200 ton stage, 200,000 watts of power, 4 sets of 32 wireless speakers, outdoor needed FAA clearance. Greg Phillinganes ( Micheal Jackson music director) saw this and stated they are on such a higher level. Second grossing entertainment in 1994

Breathe is the 2nd song from side 1 and Time is the 2nd last song on side 1, but really the first part of the end. lol Side 1 is about life in general, our life and your life. Starts with Talk To Me, which is about hearing random voices and music inside your mothers womb.....then your mother screams and you are born, and have to BREATHE for yourself. Next is On The Run......about the pressures and dictates of working life.....for a band that is lots of time in airports and on planes / helicopters. Then side 1 finnishes with 2 different songs that are really one song. Time, which slides into The Great Gig In The Sky, which is really the end of Time, the end of our life. The live versions are brilliant, but the recorded version on the original vinyl and CD is one of mankinds / womankinds masterpieces.

I saw them on this tour, 1994. I did not partake in anything because honestly it’s not necessary, the music takes you their on its own. I had a girlfriend who partook in several things for the show. I shelled up some good $$ for the tickets and she barely remembered the experience. We broke up shortly after

I had a pair of those illuminated sticks. They are a little heavier than the gauge of stick I usually play with but a great effect. I also had a rack of those rotatoms he was using. Stick with the pulse concert. The next track on the album is "the great gig in the sky". The pulse version, though many will say is not as good as the original album version will blow your mind. The backing vocalists are let loose for this one.

They're rotor tom's, you change the pitch by rotating the head, the "lights" are the lasers bouncing off the skins. No need to "do" anything at this '94 gig the music got you high. They had 2 x jumbo jets, 1 x Antonov heavy lift military aircraft, and 53 container trucks moving 3 70 tonne stages around the world leapfrogging from town to town one being set up, one in use, one being taken down.

You may have been mislead....It's not just a story they are telling with their music - But rather a journey. Often (especially with the albums from the 1970s') the music flows from one song to the next with no audible break between songs. More like a composition that a collection of songs. They were the first "Masters" of this in rock (IMHO) which is why I say "No one 'builds' a piece of music the way Pink Floyd does"

PINK FLOYD STARTED IN 1966 TO MID 90'S. THE PROBLEM WITH YOU 2 AND MANY OF YOUR GENERATION IS YOU HEAR STUFF THAT PEOPLE WHO ALSO DON'T KNOW AND BELIEVE IT... TAKES ONLY A COUPLE MINUTES TO RESEARCH IT... SOME GOT STUNNED BEFORE SHOW IN PARKING LOT , OTHERS DRANK DURING SHOWS , BUT EVERYONE PAID CLOSE ATTENTION BACK THEN DURING THE GREATEST ERA OF MUSIC BECAUSE THE TALENT WAS UNBELIEVABLE , EVERYTHING WAS LIVE AND NO AUTO TUNE... THAT DIDN'T COME OUT UNTIL LATE 90'S .. NO PITCH CORECTION SOFTWARE CAUSE COMPUTERS WERENT AROUND THEN ... TODAYY MUSIC SU KS EVERYTHING IS AUTO TUNE ON VOCALS SO LIVE THE ARTIST SOUNDS LIKE CRAP.... AND HIP HOP ARTISTS WERE SO STUPID THINKING HEY I'M GOING TO STEAL THIS AND THAT FROM THIS ARTIST AND SCREW COPYRIGHT CLEARANCE AND ADD SOME COMPUTER VENERATED BEATS AND CALL IT GOOD?????? WHERE'S THE TALENT ...OH THERE ISNT ANY .. KANYE AND MOST RAPPERS GOT SUED AND HAD TO TURN 100% ROYALTIES OVER TO ORIGINAL ARTIST AND THE COURTS ALWAYS AWARDED. ILLLIONS IN DAMAGES TO THE WRITER OF SAID SONG . NO RAPPER UNTIL GOING TO COURT EVER GAVE ANY CREDIT OR MENTIONED ON ALBUM WHAT THEY STOLE... SAMPLING = THEFT.... ANYONE CAN RESEARCH THIS ONLINE.....
