Just found you on You Tube and wanted to see the craft room set up. Wow! You are one amazing lady. I’m sure that I could never move all the fixtures around let alone put them all together. I’m in total awe if your abilities. With that said, you have a lot of stuff! I thought I had a lot but I know you have me beat! LOL! I really love the new layout. Flow is important and it looks like this set up is really going to be efficient. Thanks for all the tips too. Those Target baskets look great in the Kallax cubes. wow it looks amazing i do my room on a regular basis it keeps me motivated. i really like how you did yours and yes i change my mind all the time I am thinking of taking the doors off my robe as well they are really large doors and take up so much room when open. i like the look of yours so i will have to think more seriously about it. thanks for the inspiration

Love it! I also is the BHG shelf in my cube units. I bought them a few years back and they were only about $7 each. I guess they raised their prices after so many crafters started ordering them. I also use the y weave baskets from Target but I find they end up turning into a hot mess. I do like that they are inexpensive and so sturdy compared to Fabric bins. Love the progress. Keeping me motivated to continue to organize my crafts space that I share with our living room. Thanks for sharing!

Jessica, I’m in the process of redoing my craft room as well. I have 5 of those large target bins you’re using as a garbage bin. Thank you for mentioning that they fit the 13” cube! I love your ideas. I'm not into the scrapbooking but sewing instead. Still have storage issues mainly organization related so this is very appropriate. I had purchased 3, 9 cube storage units to make a central unit such as you did. However. in watching yours and all have kind of changed now to using those against the wall for storage and going with the Threshold units as you did. The shelving inserts are wonderful so will incorporate those. Anxious to get started. Thanks again.

3 hours to an ikea, mine is 5 hours! I would probably go more if it was that close. But we are making a weekend trip to one at the end of the month and HOPEFULLY I get everything I want. THanks for sharing

Hi there! My Michaels units I took the drawers out of them and than they give ya a nice cube. Mine have plastic tracks and you can cut a shelf to put in them.

I too have some of those cubed storage organizers not from Michael’s a company who originally made them I can’t remember who now since it was so long ago! lol. I too want to go to the Alex drawers. I am assuming you mean kallax vs. BHG? If that is the case, I think the BHG are of good quality and hold up as well as Kallax. That’s my opinion and experience of course. Cube size of BHG is 13x13.

I was going to order a different model, but I was sort of afraid to because everyone has had so much success with this particular model. I had ordered it from Dell before Christmas -- excellent price, but they notified me they were back ordered to April! so that order was cancelled.... So I'm happy to be getting one now, full price, but I'm hopeful I'll actually get it -- fingers crossed.

White spray paint is your friend! Paint those baskets and the center dividers with white spray paint!! Save some money.

I like some of your organizational ideas, but why don't you get some spray paint and change the colors on your baskets to repurpose what you already have? Ok, so I'm editing this to say, glad you finally thought of spray paint! LOL

Lol. I was actually able to repurpose the colored ones to other areas of my home like the bathroom, pantry and kids rooms so I ended not needing to paint them, I had white ones in those areas so I just swapped out. But I would have painted if needed 😀
