Hopefully with the arrival of the chairman - he can bang heads together and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Also - A lot’s said about how we win after playing badly but that luck will run out against more clinical teams. Going a goal up then desperately defending it isn’t a great tactic long term. That won’t help with transfers either.

I have had my doubts about Eales since the interview in which he talked about Eddie's position as Coach, found it quite condescending, very sort of stay in your lane, get back in your box vibes for me. Mitchell has not been in long enough to judge. But the negotiating of Guehi doesn't fill me with confidence. Where do they go from here? Can they work together or will PIF take a side and result in a sacking? I don't like being kept in the dark so keep it up. Always drama at NUFC. Will we ever just be efficiently run! NUFC need a big PR win so I'd expect news on the commercial front soon, be it Sponsors, Stadium or Training Ground.

I read their body language at the time and it told the true story. I haven't a clue at what is going on behind the scenes but it is evident that EH is not happy and that is being reflected by the players on the pitch. Oh and thanks for giving EK the three stars, I've thought he has been, probably, our most consistent player for a while now. I trust him to keep his place until Botman and Lascelles are fit again, but it won't be easy for them to dislodge him. Now January window. Spot on everything you said Craig Glad you showed Tino some appreciation, he was real quality Only thing I hope you could call out Gordon a bit more and go into it. Is it just fitness? His standards have dropped this season and only showed up for a few moments in the game. Out of possession he looked lazy, almost as if he is complacent now as everyone thinking he’s great and doesn’t have to work hard for the team. I was really disappointed in Gordon today
@mikem93092 ай бұрын
Agreed. Maybe he isn’t fully fit or some other reason but he definitely isn’t at his best and his appetite to take on his man seems to have waned. There was a moment in the game yesterday where he has a moment to go one on one and try to out dribble/ outrun the defender to be in on goal and he cutback and passed it off. Not that that’s always a bad plan but I just feel last season he would have gone for it.

Craig, thanks again for an honest appraisal of today and whats happened through the summer. First a question, do you think Schar comes strait back in seeing how well Kraft has deputised, secondly, do you know the musical movie and stage show "The Music Man " (why is he asking this I hear you thinking) Well, after seeing Darren Eales on the US tour last year, his demeanour worried me a little then as he pops up to cut ribbons, sing songs on stage and sells us a dream I realise he reminds me of Harold Hill from the movie / show. He rolls into town saying all the right things to all the right people but at the same time is scheming behind the towns folks backs with a little hustle to benifit him with the song "Ya Got Trouble" Well, he gets the town folk to buy band uniforms for all their kids, even though they didn't have a band and the good towns folk could not really afford to buy them, next he talks them into buying instruments for their kids, promising to teach them how to play, but its all a clever money making scheme, once he's cleaned up he plans on doing a runner. Well Mr Eales has sold us all the uniforms and promised us new instruments what else is in his box of tricks. For Harold Hill I give you Darren Eales " Well I see trouble, yes sir, right here in River City" watch to see Eales at work kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnrCgJhjn9mamqssi=fFIiYwm7SyhoodsN

Looking at our playing style - are we not match fit? Are we just sitting back to avoid injuries? Why are we misplacing passes? Questions that need answers as we come back after the break. Because we will not achieve a European spot playing as we have done in the first few games. I have every confidence in Eddie to solve this.

Why was it Amanda who was banished and not Eales? Especially when the transfers had been working well. Unless they got blamed for the PSR shortfall
Do you think that maybe the training has been soft lately? Maybe because of fear of injuries, Eddie is going easier on them. Although we were better today, we seem a lot more cautious and missing half a yard, and that bravery and intensity that we are known for seems suppressed. Hopefully, after today, we can get confidence back and March forward, but with all the substitutions, I believe Eddie I airing on the side of caution
