The common reed frog changes if there are too many of one. Clownfish. If the dominant female of the group dies or gets removed, the dominant male will change to female. There's also a kind of shrimp, the nauplius shrimp, which can procreate without male influence, but males can fertilize the eggs to make them more durable (lasting up to 4 years). The eggs only hatch males when their habitat is getting harder to live in, e.a. the water drying up.

adding more fun facts to this: many snails have no gender at all and procreate asexually, a single snail can lay and fertilize their eggs. racing line flatworms have a peepee sword fight, the one who loses will be the one to carry the eggs to term. the split gill fungi has 20,000 sexes, and possibly more. sometimes female lions grow a mane and start acting like both male and female lions, even mating with both sexes. so, we have trans, bi, dom lions.

You don’t want a flying car for three reasons: 1. They are ridiculously impractical. Combining the lightweight technology of an airplane with the weight and features of a car just doesn’t work well. 2. They are expensive. 3. You need a pilot’s license to fly one. Its so true though, the idea that you often change perceptions of yourself the older you get and the more experiences you have. For nearly a decade I thought of myself as bisexual, fell in love with a man, and during the course of that relationship (which ultimately ended) I realized I wasn’t actually bi, I was demisexual. Once I figured that out, I stopped being so stressed about why I was so adverse to being intimate with people I didn’t know well. The amount of relief I felt when I realized I didn’t need to force myself to casually date in the hopes of finding a partner was immense. Take the time you need to figure out who you are, don’t be afraid to change your mind if what you thought of yourself before doesn’t fit with who you are now. Its much better in the long run.

Yay fellow demi! I don't know what my sexual orientation is, seeing as I never feel attracted to anyone. I used to struggle with that question a lot, but now I have come to a place where I don't really care. Dating just isn't for me, and I don't need a partner anyway, so none of it matters 😁

I don't know what demi means but not wanting to date strangers sounds like me. Please explain further, I may be on the edge of a breakthrough.
@anjelica948 Жыл бұрын
@@sophiachalloner8951 So, as so far as I understand it, Demisexual applies to people who do not feel a physical attraction to other people, Unless there is a strong mental or emotional connection. Which, depending on the person, can mean that a person who is demisexual could feel attraction to any gender, as long as that mental/emotional connection was there first. I imagine like most other things in humanity, a spectrum exists, and some people who are more interested in the mental/emotional connection first, might still have other physical preferences. Sexuality is a surprisingly complicated spectrum.
@anjelica948 Жыл бұрын
@@kissit012 If a person wants to apply both labels to themselves, then by all means, go for it. For me, it doesn’t work, just based on the definitions of the labels involved. For me, demisexual fits me much better than bisexual, but if someone else wants to use both, or if they have a different definition of either term, then that’s ok too. I like labels, insofar as they allow people to describe themselves in a way that makes sense. But if one, or even multiple labels, doesn’t apply to a specific person, then they don’t need to use it. I personally am very comfortable with the demisexual label. But sexuality is a complicated spectrum, and as long as the individual feels comfortable, it doesn’t matter that much.

So my niece (mtf) views me as her mother and she came out to me as Trans and at that moment...I KNEW what had to be done. I looked at her dead in the eyes and said, "How dare you! Clearly you know that this makes me...TRANSparent!" And the groan just, "Noooo, your jokes are so bad." So right now we're figuring things out. I gave her an old ass skirt that is WAY to big for me know and I fucking suck with make up but still trying out different things with her. So far she really likes eyeshadow and loves her hair pulled up into a high pony tail. She is interested in wanting to get top surgery so to help figure out what sort of chest size she wants (please don't flame me, idk if it even works like that) I'm gonna have her put a bra on and stuff it to figure out where she likes it.
@MichiruEll Жыл бұрын
That sounds lovely! For the top surgery, it'll likely take some time. If she decides to take hormones, she'll likely develop breasts, so it may be worth her waiting to see how much develops without surgery. Then the process is very similar to any woman getting a breast augmentation. Surgeons take pictures and show simulations of how it would look with different amounts added. Depending on country, she'll be able to have the surgery covered by health insurance (but then she may need therapist letter). In the meantime, she can buy some fake silicon breasts that can be put inside a bra and look very realistic. They suction to the skin a little bit so that they don't move around. Of course no idea how old your niece is, if sge can make her own healthcare decisions, what her financial situation is, etc...
@Moonfairy251 Жыл бұрын
@@MichiruEll Ah, okay I wasn't all too sure if hormones would have her develop. This is new waters for me and I am more than glad to show her support and try to help out as much as I can. She's in her 20's and where she works has insurance which covers many areas including gender reassignment and mental health. We'll have to look into getting silicon breasts at some point. Right now she is trying to settle on a name she likes (so far there are two of them). That and she has asked for help in changing how she walks. Honestly? I didn't know that there was gendered walking? I just see it as people going about, but if it makes her happy? I'll see what can be done.
@MichiruEll Жыл бұрын
@@Moonfairy251 It's so nice that you're supporting her like that. And don't worry, many parents don't really know what their trans child is embarking on. It's all about listening and following their lead :) The walking is an interesting question. I remember that teen movies in the early 2000 sometimes had montages of girls being taught how to be more lady-like (sometimes seriously, sometimes it was a joke), and I did practice along as a pre-teen myself. I also remember watching a TV segment explaining how women in Miss France contest were taught how to walk in heels to be the most appealing. By now, I don't think about how I walk, but I'm sure the gendered practice as a teen had an influence. Anyway, I wish your niece and you a lot of fun with exploring her femininity. It's a beautiful journey, even if there's some challenges to it.
@Moonfairy251 Жыл бұрын
@@MichiruEll That is more than fair, I know she is super nervous and hell. A life motto of mine is 'So long as you're not harming anyone? Go for it!' But yes, I am following on and listening. She looked up phantom cramps when looking into treatment therapy. So, I explained to her what they were and walked her through coping methods should it come to that . But yeah, I always thought the whole gendered walk was a bit odd. But if she wants to do it? Heh...That is something I can't do. I'm more like a damn bull in a china shop. But thank you so much! I'm really excited to see her through all of this. She's going to want to look at clothing and expressed interest in skirts, so when she has a day off? I'm going to take her up to Good Will or another thrift shop in the area and try to figure out sizes and what sort of stype and colors she would like.

@hailyjohnson407 Жыл бұрын
It's ok, it takes time! It took me 4 years to finally figure it out. I don't know where you're at in your journey, but I'd recommend looking at romantic orientations as well, if you haven't already! That's what threw me for a loop for so long. For me, I find people of many different variations of masculine and feminine attractive, but I didn't think I was sexually attracted to women/feminine presenting people, but I couldn't figure out what my sexual orientation was because I find female/feminine bodies much more attractive than male/masculine bodies in a general aesthetic point of view, but I had only ever been sexually attracted to men/masculine presenting people. I knew I found lots of people of any gender very attractive, and had a romantic interest in them though. After years of trying to figure it out, I came to the conclusion that I am bi/pan-romantic, but I am demisexual. Demisexual is on the asexual spectrum, meaning I am only able to experience sexual attraction to people who I have a very close, intimate relationship with. I have only dated cis men in my life, so I have only experienced sexual attraction to a small handful of cis men (3 to be exact). I have no idea if I am capable of experiencing sexual attraction to people who are women/feminine presenting, because I have never been in an intimate romantic relationship with one. To people who will understand, I identify as panromantic/demisexual, but to people who don't get it or are anti-LGBTQ+, I identify as heterosexual, just because it's easier to simplify it. My current boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years and plan to get married in the next year or two, so it's not worth the fight in my opinion to correct or educate those who are hateful and rude, since my relationship appears heterosexual even if I'm not. I wish you luck on your journey! It can be a pain, and you will probably try out tons of different labels, or maybe get to the point where you don't want any labels at all, or will choose to identify as a label that is "close enough" that you are comfortable with for simplicity, or maybe you will prefer a very detailed, specific label! Regardless, you are valid. Sending love from an internet stranger who knows the struggle 💕

Understanding yourself can be a journey that takes a lifetime, there really is no time limit to it and no need to rush to an understanding of yourself - either in who you are or with who you are or aren't attracted to or interested in - maybe it's all genders, maybe it's one gender, maybe it's no one or only those you're romantically attached to or any other possibility. Everyone is different and those differences only make each and every person more special and more beautiful. I'm 38 (gender fluid, born F) It took me until I was 26 for me to understand that I was pan-sexual and I have a son who is openly bi-sexual. The best advice I can give is to experiment, experience, and enjoy your life while being true to yourself.

Here's one that's fairly unexpected and seldom mentioned: salmon. Although, lots of aquatic and amphibious life has one form or another of commonplace gender transition. Also quite a few always functional full hermaphrodite species. Also also, many species that aren't typically hermaphroditic can have individual mixed or nonstandard gender births. In fact, while still very rare, the number of humans born fully functional or partially functional hermaphrodites is far greater than most people assume or know about. Reporting of such births is very spotty, and most hospitals have a common practice of natal gender assignment surgery, often even without policies requiring the parents be informed or consulted about the procedure, and/or very skewed professional opinions pushing a quick decision when parents are required to be informed. There could very easily be some people out there who don't feel comfortable in their current body that were originally born in a body they would be comfortable in that they never knew about. Also kids that are raised as one gender who then get blindsided when they start showing developments of the opposite gender at puberty.

30:15 I've heard a similar story of a man who tried nitrous oxide and thought he had great insights about the nature of the Universe, but forgot them upon sobering up. The next time he used nitrous oxide, he brought a notepad and wrote down what he thought was so important. On sobering up, he'd written that everything has a petroleum-like smell. So either one cannot appreciate the profundity of that insight while sober, or he was high and thought his banal thoughts were profound.

You guys I don't want to be mean but if something exists like Bird leashes it dosen't mean that's actually safe, you know? Don't trust Everything you saw on internet, bc I didn't got that infromacion form uncle google, neither (even worse source) tik-tok, I learned that from person who has/had several Animals + Goes to vet studies. Wasn't Click talking about not believing Everything you see on internet? I need to admin, don't remember why this product is bad for Birds tho, I think it was something about damaging thier wings, and twisting their legs, but I know that there are many leashes for hamsters and NONE of them are safe. Hamseters are small, with fregile bone structure, so even fall from the bed can easliy kill an hamster. Form what I hear leashing a hamster can: damage their spine (kill them) choke them, twist/brake their bones. Secondly: Animals aren't toys so what are you thinking that you are doing? People in those times really forget about this. Also about this duck... I think it is ok to teach your for example: a parrot to ride an duck, since it is Bird-Bird interaction, but if you would like to do that with puppies, dogs, cats or forggs that usually ends bad for both Animals: For the Bird - I saw that in many videos from chanells that only feed from that Type of videos, many Birds had demaged wings or even cropped wich is illegal in some states - or for second Animal: Froggs skin begin picked by duck, puppy begin besten by duck... This just begs for an disaster to happen and it happens a lot, even in those videos but It is being cut off but scars can still be visible on Animals. 😒 + small addition to the first sentence: There are actually pipi 🍆 blowers you can buy (not add) on many popular sites and this things arent safe, People make them to only get profit while they don't even have idea what they are doing and they just don't care if it is safe, they just try to sell you a product - look at some things in Animal World like that - People make leashes for animals wich should never ever wear a leash, bc it is cheap, lazy and People buy that shit witout even thinking if it is safe. People who made it, most of the time have no basic knowlage about this Animals and their biology and they don't care if your pets is gonna get hurt or even die, if it is selling Well than Everything is fine. Recosider that for their (pets) sake not your sake and your fallowers. There are so many bad animal trends in internet, mainly on tick toc should I remember you guys this trend with eating diswasher machine pills? Maby nother one? There were many of those. 😒

It's a good game, I'd know I've played through it like 4 times.

13:54 as I once heard someone say, if you wouldn't go to someone for advice, don't take their criticism either. "Your body is a temple, stop vandalizing it!!!" Yes, my body is a temple and I am the god(dess) to whom it is devoted, do not presume to tell me how I may decorate my altar.

If I have learned anything from playing Minecraft its that u can leash frogs and take them on a walk. They r going to jump everywhere and try to escape u, but u can leash them and take them on a walk
