I started posting daily to a new TikTok channel to promote my children’s activity books (coloring and scissor activity). My videos are only getting around 230 views during the first day and little views. I don’t seem to be getting any sales through these promotions. Does TikTok stop showing my videos after the first day?

It's not a bad idea, but it just depends on your audience. It takes time to build a channel but you can give it a try. I think that Tiktok is possible better for book promotions. Best of luck!

Thanks Nuria I have wondered about how to do this myself, sounds like having the Canva app on your phone is a good idea. I assume this works the same for Pinterest videos too , can we do this on Canva's free account?

I haven't tried this with Pinterest yet myself, but yes, you should be able to upload videos like this to Pinterest.

You can create a video on Canva for any purpose, not just for books.

In the same way that you upload an image to Canva. You can upload video files.

I’ve been looking into this too, but I’m scared that people will copy my designs and niches. I thought we had to keep that information to ourselves?

People can look up any book on Amazon and copy it, that shouldn't stop you from promoting your books. It's different if you are making low content books because, in theory, those books are easier to copy, but you also need to promote them so it's one of those situations where you have to make a decision that's in your best interest.

No, it's not better, it's just a different way to do it. I personally find it easier on Canva, but it is completely your choice.
