I think , the best way, particularly for vertical videos (three videos side by side in the first example) , u may give " Auto resize/Auto Re-frame" a chance first, altering their values in sequence setting e.g 1080 x 1920.. then u might not even need to crop the video or very little if at all it does , secondly importantly, the object wont move outa frame and remain within the frame, unlike they did in this case. Even for the horizontal video (on top of three) u can alter the width (increased) and height (decreased) and then auto resize /reframe. I did try this in another scenario and it worked out the best way to do it . Good video for the beginners though .. they will get to exercise their mind.. Good job done.

Great Video! I would also like to know how to save the split screen as a template for reuse with different footages
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
Premiere Pro doesn't have templates. You just save the Project and import it when needed.

Can you make the black bars slightler bigger if need be???
@VideoRevealed4 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are just thin rectangles. You can either zoom in and drag the handles or use the Scale property with Scale Lock turned off.

Wow. I confess, I clicked on this arrogantly thinking I know all about it, but it never occurred to me to use transform to re-frame. I used nested sequences if needed, which is quite a nuisance. Side note: Adobe should add a default color setting for shapes!
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you found it useful. Yes a default color would be useful.

how to make a preset or a template thanks Colin
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
Here's a tutorial on Presets: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXTRaaung9Otoc0 Premiere Pro doesn't really have "templates", you just create what you want and save it as a Project. This tutorial might help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3zYf4eGjdKZpKM

I’m confused, Colin. Are these templates available only for PayPal contributors and not for Patreon supporters?
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
I switched from Patreon quite a while ago and closed my account. The service was not the right choice for me. You should have received an email from me at that time with info on how to move to PayPal support. I apologize if you did not receive it. Please contact me here: videorevealed.com/contact/

How do you crop it into a triangle?
@VideoRevealed4 жыл бұрын
Combinations of several Crop and Transform effects. $20 will save you a lot of time trying to create them yourself.

Hi Colin, I've donated and downloaded your presets for these split screens, its howing 9 placeholders and 1 PremierPro file called 'VideoRevealedSplitScreens, however I cannot import any as a preset to drag and drop ? can you help please ? Gav
@madzmax76595 жыл бұрын
Its ok, figured it out, it was too deep into the download folder for Prem Pro to locate the 9 placeholders.
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
The split screens are Sequences in a Premiere Pro Project. If you import the Project, it will import all the needed split screens and placeholder videos.
@VideoRevealed5 жыл бұрын
Importing the Project takes care of everything.
