I really like your channel and if your ever up toward northern middle Tennessee I'd really like to show you a few things about bad fishing in the creek. That's all I do during the summer for the last 25 years. I've learned some things from you but I could really show you a few things for catching the 5 to 6 pounders that are hard to make bite

I walk a lot of streams like that, trout fishing. I strongly recommend getting yourself a walking stick. They make crossing the current much easier and safer. I tie it to my belt and let it drift when fishing. Stays out of the way.

I'm seeing some of your previous videos, such as this one...and, boy, it's a beaut! You did really good on catching those Smallies in this video! Sounds like you had a bit of trouble, though.. such as at least a couple of batteries dying on you, and also having your leader snap on ya. I've got a Shakespeare setup with just Power Pro Braided Line (10 Lb. Test), and I have a swivel setup tied to the end of it. I don't use leader lines...but I could easily tie one on, and tie it to the hook-in part of the swivel, if I wanted to. Having a swivel tied to my Power Pro line opens up at least 3 possibilities for me. One is the one that I just described, and another one is just putting a hook on the swivel, with which I can use any type of bait that I want to. The third possibility is just to take a smelled hook that has some pre-tied line, and put it on the swivel, bait up that way, too, and get to fishin'! Have a great evening, Brother John, and God bless you and yours!

I love your content man. I’m not sure if you’ve ever posted about the topic so feel free to let me know if you have. But if you’ve never made a video on creek fishing gear as in what you’re running have you ever made a video about what all you’re using? I’ve always been a pond hopper for largemouth. No need to share your special spots. You share plenty of the easily accessed and popular spots to keep people busy. Now if were fishing here in your wading shoes right now you would not know if you actually still had toes.😂 We are running high, fast, and cold with snow melt and the weather doesn’t know what season it is. Keeping Tennessee in my prayers with the fire you have going. Far too early for fires like that. Texas too. It’s heartbreaking. Hopefully our summer is smoke free this year.

that water is moving in that creek, lots of rain down that way lately obviously. Be careful, a slip and a knock on the head is all it takes.
@milesruby32712 жыл бұрын
Cold water = fish the slow water. The current for them is like wind for us, adds some wind chill. Doesnt need to be deep, just needs to be slow and so does your presentation.
