Merry Christmas. If you are in Valdosta Georgia, that isn't brackish, meaning salt and fresh mixed. That is blackwater creeks and rivers, like the Withaloochee River will make fish have a darker look. That is staining from the vegetation rotting in the water. Next time you are near this neck of the woods hit me up. I will be happy to guide you to some farm ponds as long as I can stay off camera.

Merry Christmas John, and congrats on the new house. I look forward to your videos every time I see one post. Ever since I started watching your videos I have been so intrigued by where you might be fishing from. I have to say that the Ginnie springs and Sante Fe river videos are some of my favorites, since I grew up fishing in those areas as a boy. I would love tos see a video of the St. Johns river some time as that is the water I grew up on, just next to Doctors inlet in Jacksonville, Fl. Thanks again for the great videos this year and I look for many more to come.

@CreekFishingAdventures yeah I slept under that bridge in my car. My biggest Suwanees were both 13 inches, that would be cool if your 14 was one of them. It was cool paddling back into the backwater swamp areas too, I plan on heading back down there again one day.
