Great job, Onion! This is one of the b est videos you've produced so far :D

This is more common than you think but fortunately doesn't always end in violence. My dad always bought my mom expensive gifts and took her on exotic trips to show he had the money to find her anywhere if she tried to escape. He would INSIST on cooking and doing the heavy lifting so my mother would be more dependent on him. He would make her invite her family for dinner just so he could see the look on her face. She couldn't even talk to other men because of his insane jealousy. One time he heard her boss threaten to fire her for missing work due to pregnancy and he just lost it. He just took the phone and started screaming. He was so afraid of losing control of my mother he sued her employer. My mother begged him to not go through with it but he was obsessed. She only finally left because one day he told her it's wrong how her boss treats her and she shouldn't accept it. How many other husbands think so little of women that they will gaslight them into having self respect just so they can feel powerful?

Pause at 1:52 shows how sick this man was, the fact that he would defile her to the 90s dance remix of the X-Files theme that's on the album on the right is just truly the sign of a disturbed individual.

@@andersonrayregalia8378 Of course it is. I would never say it's not true. However Tumblr is a little bit like 4chan. If you know how to avoid its equivalent of the random page and pol you will have fun. The problem with the Internet culture is that the stupid people are the loudest and most interesting. There are traditional feminists there and those who believe that fighting for equality also means fighting for men's rights but they are boring. The sexist women hiding their hate behind their version of 'feminism' - those are people worth talking about The right is similar in that way. There are activists who want to make their country a better place and those people who were posting Pepe everywhere to trigger liberals. For some reasons the frog became more famous than people who actually do something. Internet is strange
