My husband was crossing the street to get to work one morning. A driver who was speeding hit my husband, the guy was driving 45mph. It threw my husband about 30 feet into the cross street and it totaled the driver's truck. The guy fled the scene and a witness chased him to get tag info. The coward left my husband in the road to die like a stray. Don't ask how my husband survived, let alone walked away, that's a miracle in itself. But he's been unable to work due to pain issues, the driver got a slap on the wrist of one year felony probation. That mrfr changed our family's entire life that day, one we still haven't recovered from. That was in 2017, and husband STILL hasn't been able to get disability due to lack of ability to work.

I'm 42 now but when I was a dumb kid with a car we actually had a deal with the local police officers that if we kept the street racing to one dead end road in the industrial complex with no businesses on it they would leave us alone. And if we crashed they said don't call them. Theyd swing by every now and then to make sure things were good and we cool with that. It was awesome, we painted the quarter mile lines and had a bunch of fun and never wrecked anything when I was there. It got the racing off the streets. Couldnt do that nowadays unfortunately

My niece was killed by her boyfriend in a car accident. They were both 18 years old at the time. he loved to drive fast and considered himself a street racer. His car lost control when he was doing 140 mph around a 4 0 mph turn and he slammed the car into a 2000 lb Rock killing her. Sadly there were no consequences because he wasn't drunk. At the trial the judge said it was only an accident. There needs stricter laws for this kind of reckless driving!

Even if someone is fully capable of driving a car at 200 mph through crowded streets without hitting anything, at even 20 or 30 over the speed limit, you're moving so fast that people won't even see you before they pull out because you're too far away. All it takes is for one pedestrian or car to pop out from between two cars on the side and it's all over. There are certain things that no amount of driving skill will be able to prevent and someone who's actually a professional would know that. This guy isn't a good driver he's complacent because he hasn't had a major wreck yet.

My cousin was leaving the state house crossing Main Street. This street is downtown and loaded with people and small businesses. She was crossing at the crosswalk with other people. Guy came up so fast he whipped around another car in the opposite lane and struck her without even hitting his breaks. She flew over his car and landed 20 feet away. Broke almost every bone in her body and almost died. It was horrific. He tried to blame her and said she walked in front of his car. Joke was on him…she not only survived but was also a lawyer for the state. 😂

my dad died when I was 14 due to a split second error from another driver, he was on a Yamaha VX250.. that was a lot of inspiration for myself to become a professional driver, I teach Motorcycle riding as a hobby but my real pay is I am a city bus driver.. I am here to tell you, I am a legit professional driver, I get paid to keep people safe and the road users safe in a heavy vehicle... and I have been driving a car (in a field that we own) since I was 12. if you are on the street acting like the person in this video this you are not a professional... he should be using that creativity on a racetrack but people like to take the easy way out in life. "take it to the racetrack" sounds good until you realize it's 4 hours away and they're only open 2 nights a week. And thats after having to spend thousands modifiying your car up to their saftey standards which makes it illegal to drive on the street so hopefully you have a truck and trailer to tow it there. If you can do that at 19 cool but most people can't.

When I was in my twenties I loved to drive fast. So I saved up my money and got my SCCA racing license and signed up for the Solo Pro tour. I had so much fun. I really learned about my car and about my capabilities. There's always someone there to help you out to give you pointers as well as help fix your car when it breaks down. Everything I learned has helped me all the way into my fifties. One time I got my starter replaced, the mechanic bent an accelerator wire. Out of blue when I would go up a hill the van would accelerate full out and the breaks wouldn't stop it. My knowledge kicked in and I threw it in neutral to stop. I didn't panic. There's benefits to following the law and doing what's right.

My cousin's son has been in a coma since March 10, 2024, because of a police chase. The police chassd this guy for 10 miles because he didn't stop for a traffic infraction. Speeds exceeded 100 mph. His car was struck on the driver's side, going over 100 mph. The man died at the scene. I don't understand why this chase was necessary. They had his information from his plate. They could pick up the guy whenever they wanted. The doctors are telling the family he will never wake up. Edit: 06/04/24: We have a funeral to attend on Thursday. Of course, the guy should have stopped. As well as the police should also have terminated the chase when the speeds exceeded 100 MPH. Right now, I don't really care who is at fault. The only thing I know with 100% certainty is a kind, gentle man is gone. His wife has lost her husband, his children have lost their father. Everyone who loved him now have a piece of their hearts broken that will never heal.

There have been plenty of cases where people wake up even though they’ve been declared “brain dead”. Don’t believe those doctors they will push to take him off life support/have him euthanized. It’s completely possible a year from now he wakes up, so don’t give up hope there.

Kmsl 😂😂😂😂 I usually skip over the eform part. I love how you put the mom character into it and you know when I first started watching your channel I literally thought your mom was in your basement doing illegal things and you couldn't kick her out. I know it's absurd but then you showed a picture of your parents on a Harley-Davidson and I couldn't believe I was so gullible. But thank you for the laugh and all the great content. Both of you are amazing. I haven't heard to speak about your mom lately so this one called me awkward also😅😅😅😂😂

I absolutely HATE reckless drivers. I was friends with a girl I’ll call G when I was a teenager. We lived in a small town, and I was friends with her when I was 15. I moved away for several years, and then came back to visit. G had gotten a restricted license (Can’t drive at night without an adult, but the rest is fine). I had never ridden in a car with her before. I IMMEDIATELY regretted getting into a car with her. She drove like a bat out of hell. We actually zoomed around a highway side GRAVE of TWO of her GOOD FRIENDS that had DIED bc of reckless driving on that same road, and she didn’t care. I was so afraid, I begged her “Please, please PLEASE just stop, just drive normal and take me home, PLEASE!!!!!!” I was crying I was so scared. She wouldn’t listen. Finally, my fear turned to rage, and I said “If you gun the engine one more time I swear to god, I will beat the shit out of you, I don’t care. Just fucking STOP IT!!!!!!” She laughed at me, the light turned green, and she gunned the engine. I slammed my fist into her face as hard as I could- one time. I wanted to keep going bc I was so angry, but that one punch was enough to make her drive like a normal person. She dropped me off at my house, and I NEVER spoke to her again. Let me make it clear- I am not advocating using physical violence to achieve your aims. That is NOT the way you should try to resolve conflict. But in my case, in this specific moment, I was genuinely terrified and afraid for my life, and I did what I thought I had to. And I’m not sorry.
