I absolutely adore the Sephiroth of old. I liked how when Zack looked a bit nervous Sephy made it better. "We'll see each other soon." That was so sweet.

Seeing Sephiroth be so gentle and kind makes it almost impossible to believe he'd gone so wrong. It's like it could happen to anyone in his situation... even Zack or Angeal or Cloud could have turned bad had they been in his place. I'm sorry for him!! (T_T)

Yes, it's so amazing, especially since they really haven't known each other that long! They just get along so beautifully. Chapter 4 is my favorite section, but this scene is right up there, too. Seph's soft smile watching Zack is just adorable.

I'm positive she influenced him when he was alone in the library. I can't believe someone such as he could have cracked up just like that without her being around. That's probably what happened to Angeal and Genesis, too.

when seph fought cloud at the end of 7, presuming he had a lucid non crazy moment during it, it must have moved him so much to see the buster sword in cloud's hands. god that sword is so significant, so symbolic

He was so nice and smart. But when he found out that he was the perfect monster and went berserk about Jenova.... ARGH! Why did Sephiroth have to be the bad guy. Imagine Cloud and Sephiroth switching places. That would be....interesting.

Seph controlled by Jenova makes more sense to me than the other way around, too. The trauma of learning his true origins could have opened the door to her influence, but I don't see how the information alone could have made Sephiroth go that crazy. I'm with ya, Lisa and Lucky.

I thought it said that Seph eventually controlled Jenova, not that he had control of her from the start. Since he wasn't even aware of her presence until Nibelheim, I have a hard time believing that he could suddenly take control of her without her having done anything first.

@Anguished2 Well Both Genesis and Gakupo are voiced by Gackt. Infact Genesis was based off him. At the end of Dirge of Cerberus they had him with a green screen.

Hasn't there been something said in canon (like the Ultimania) about Seph having had his mind taken over by Jenova cells? o.o **hugs him.** I know it's been said in canon that he eventually was controlling her instead, while he himself was still insane, but that would indicate that she had been in control first.

Question. Why is it that 1:50 - 1:55, Zack is lagging, and wants to say/ask something to Sephiroth, but couldn't. What was he trying to say? And what made Sephiroth say "We'll see each other again" instead of "What is it?".... Just asking x.x
