From Bud Lite to Miller, Starbucks and Dove Soap, companies these days seem to be falling over themselves to alienate and annoy their own customers with terrible marketing campaigns. And its hilarious to watch.

"they put them in bikinis". No, every one of those women on those ads were delighted to be fit, shapely, and beautiful enough to wear the bikini on TV. They worked hard for it. The ones who hate the bikinis are the women who have none of those qualities nor the drive to even get fit. That's the real message. Pure envy.

Exactly. It's about sabotaging people they're jealous of. And, in some cases, some of the same girls who gleefully rode their looks to the top (and defended it as sex-positive and empowering) are now leading the pack of sexless killjoys. Not because they feel or felt exploited; because age is cruel and they need some way to compete with women who are younger and prettier. So first sex becomes a new taboo, and now they're going after the very idea of human beauty itself. Put another way, they spent the first half of their lives mocking and sometimes viciously attacking anything that smacked of puritanism or victorian morality. Now, suddenly, they're more victorian than even the victorians, and we're supposed to think it's sincere?!?

That's why Dumpy from the Gaming Ad has to slim down using all the Armour for the "Game" part. She WISHES she wasn't fat. The truth is we see how she wants to be in the beginning because that's what we all want to see in games. We don't buy a game with a slider and put everything to Fat bastard levels for the most part unless it's for a fun run through to see how it looks in jiggly physics. SO no we don't need more fats in the game as we can make our own if needed. Why the fk do these dumb companies think this would be the way to go in gaming?

Reminds me of how they got rid of grid girls in Formula 1 because it was deemed demeaning to pose girls as objects. Except those girls were all professional models and gigs like that payed well and were great marketing for their services. They wanted to be there, it was a business opportunity for them. The only people who were upset with that were the other women watching the sport, not the women actually doing their job as models.

The thinking is that people hop between jobs so quickly that, by the time the financial results are in, they're long gone anyway. Due to my own research for my own book, there's a bit more to the story of 'Everyone drank beer'. It wasn't beer as we know it today, it's something they called 'Table Beer' or 'Small Beer' and you can still find it today in some places. It's EXTREMELY low in alcohol content, we're talking 0.5-2% ABV, just enough to make up for the fact SOME water was often not clean. All we really had as methods to check water purity was smell and taste - and if Phillipe shat his guts out after drinking some. Contrary to popular belief there was plenty of fresh, clean water drinking in the middle ages, but larger population centers or places with just, poor access to clean water - would drink Small Beer with every meal just because it was cheap - usually made after the second or third run of the mash from stronger beers/ales so it was basically 'dregs' - and because it had something water didn't: Calories. Yeah. Small Beer was basically a medieval energy drink. Not for the same buzz we get out of caffeine - but because it was literally just bread you could drink. It was more calories to burn working the MUCH harder lives they had then, and that's really what made it popular. Not enough alcohol to get you blasted, and extra calories you could pack in. Granted this is all a generalization of HUNDREDS of cultures across Europe so there are sure to be exceptions, but clean water was not simply unhead of in even the 12th century. People just like beer.

If a woman is profiting off of it it's good, if a man is enjoying it it is bad. Now, or course, when women are profiting off their sex appeal it results in men enjoying an attractive woman (theoretically) but you just have to keep in mind that what matters is the point of view at any particular moment. Onlyfans is good when you are talking about the "brave female entrepreneurs" who are taking advantage of the site for their own profit. It's not just feminists. Marketing in the 2010s embraced some retarded idea that "going political" was profitable. This was do to early statistics that using social media and promoting political support had seen an increase of profits for a few months. In these cases, left wing political stances made more money than right wing, so the advertisers naturally decided to promote left. Now, as the decade progressed, things changed. And here is where we get the real problems. To properly promote left wing politics, the marketing teams needed to hire people who actually knew and understood left wing politics. So now you have a bunch of activists in your marketing team. Next, as this kind of marketing becomes more popular, the general populace, including the political populace, sees through it, and thus it loses its effect. Now the original advertisers who were focused on profits would likely just want to change strategy, but now they have a bunch of activists they hired on their team that want to go the other direction. They claim that if people believe the company is more genuine about their political stances, i.e. sending support to actual political groups, then the company will make profits again. It's a mentality which has replaced the economic core of business for a less stable political core. The companies who avoided this are the ones you don't see in controversies. The ones you do see, like Miller, Bud, Dove, etc. are the ones who got wrapped up in this flawed mentality. It won't die until the people who push these politics are removed from power, fired, or the company loses too much money to where it can't be ignored. The depressing reason it will probably still go on is because some companies just don't die and career savvy activists are very clever when it comes to keeping their power (think Kathleen Kennedy).

Homebrew was just a part of the meal-prep cycle because the water was too dangerous. It was no more special than baking bread or any other such thing and the reason it was 'women's work' was because men were doing 'men's work' like building cities, planting & tending crops and livestock and other jobs women tend to be too weak to perform adequately. The problem these days is for companies to be able to a line of credit, they have to have a high score on a thing called ESG, Environment, social and governance. It's no longer a case were the only requirement for a credit line would be your ability to honour it and pay it back. ESG is score is gained via a groups of activists and with the main investment companies backing it (BlackRock, Vanguard etc) companies have no choice to do stuff like this to keep the credit flowing and lights on.

But I got to go and meet with a district campaign worker for advertisement and trying to promote alcoholism with the next generation... It was the most woke, unrelatable to current drinking culture it could be. Its fucking simple, show people having a good time at a party or camping and having a laugh while sipping on a drink and you've just sold your grog, Its not that fucking hard, the new generation of drinkers are just as much going crazy on cruisers and the cheapest piss as the last. Edit: I am 21 so part of the target audience hence why they showed it, it was clear from myself and others there of the same demographic found it 'cringe'.

The reason why women were the first to brew beer was because women were the bakers and cooks in all societies. It as part of women's kitchen chores. Making beer... Cook ingredients, add sugar, flavorings, add yeast (the same yeast that can be used in BREAD making!) Add water and put in dark spot (even cover it) and let it bubble (ferment) for a week or two. The yeast eats the sugar, makes the alcohol and die when they run out off sugar. Then drain off the liquid, store in bottles or kegs, throw out the solids left over by the Yeast's activity. Put the bottles on a shelf for a week or two, and then open one and see how successful the recipe was. That is how to make beer. My husband and I used to make our own, but if Miller thinks a woman can do that work alone, they are delusional. Lots of lifting and carrying involved, it is a challenging job.

Id just like to say that you are smart, mature, funny, have a great sense of morality and goodness, i hope your words of wisdom and justice take you far in your life and will inspire others to look past the corprate wokeness and look for true meaning in art, thank you and may God bless your booze bathen kidneys!

the sad thing is i use Dove, it is the ony brand i can seem to find that makes a mild soap that doesnt make my skin all dry and itchy. been using it for YEARS, would hate to have to stop. seriously brands stop being like ahole movie stars and shoving your un asked for opinions down everyones throats. you are all doing fine when you are just making normal dont rock the boat commercials.

In April 1516, the Bavarian Duke Wilhelm IV issued his Beer Purity Law, stipulating that only water, barley and hops were allowed to be used as key ingredients for beer production. This law went on to form the core of the German Beer Purity Laws that still affect brewing today, making it the oldest regulation related to food and drink in the world. No k-rap in the beer = No hangover.

I worked for two huge gaming companies, one rhymes with Egocentric Farts, and the other with Airsoft. I worked on their flagship titles, for about 3 and half years on each. I joined Airsoft after about one month after I left Egocentric Farts, and I left Airsoft when the project became mindless and stupid AF... One of the other reasons I left is because I got fed up with the woke and LGTV shit that was pushed down our throats, and how we had to tiptoe around the "sensitive" subjects. We were a mostly guy team, but because we had girls in the team (which were actually cursing more than most of the guys), we had to approach certain subjects with care, or we weren't allowed to approach them at all. And we were guys that constantly made Yahtzee jokes and whatnot, because that's how we functioned.

The question is: when will they learn their lesson? It does not seem like Bud Light understands what went wrong. They would need to be honest with themselves, and that would hurt somebody's feelings. Miller Lite and Dove producing their ads proves they think they have a successful strategy, and possibly that they have dodged a bullet by not using trans? Then I heard Adidas is marketing a man wearing a woman's swimsuit.

Dove soap was advertised as 80 percent moisturizer. It leaves your skin feeling oily and dirty. When I'm trying to wash motor oil off my skin I don't want to use even more oil.

Prohibition was wrong but it happened for a reason. There was widespread alcohol and drug abuse on the streets and men (who had the good paying jobs) were spending family money on beer *and* coming home drunk and violent. It wasn't like the women randomly became anti-booze for no reason. And prohibition did leave a mark. Americans these days *still* drink 3 or more liters of pure alcohol less than most europeans.
