PAT VELLNER'S CROSSFIT WORKOUT:
1. WEIGHTLIFTING ACTIVATION
• Tall Muscle Clean (2 reps)
• Tall Squat Clean (2 reps)
• Push Jerk (2 reps)
2. EMOM WORKOUT: Set a timer for 10 minutes. Perform the prescribed reps at the start of every new minute. Rest until the next minute starts. Repeat until the timer ends.
• Toes-To-Bar (8 reps)
• Squat Clean (2 reps)
For 10 minutes, split into 5-minute halves
• Heavy Front Squat at 85% 1RM (2 reps per minute)
• Heavy Front Squat at 87% 1RM (2 reps per minute)
3. METABOLIC CONDITIONING:
12 rounds for time.
• Row (10 calories)
• Wall Ball (10 reps)
• Dumbbell Hang Snatch (6 reps alternating arms)
4. RESISTANCE BAND ACCESSORY MOVEMENTS
• Band High Pulls (3 sets of 20 reps)
• Band Pull Aparts (3 sets of 20 reps)

I use to hate on crossfit so much, but truly is the overall fitness staple. I would never have imagined myself doing Legless rope climbs. Doesn’t mean I still don’t hit a regular twice a week and get a quick pump. Love this!

Really confused on why the resistance band accessory movements are in the end? I thought it was a good idea to warm up with face pulls and such. Anyone care to comment? Thanks!

Helps prevent injury and bulletproof the shoulders. Also he went over posture and stuff in his interview.

People that said that got hurt doing CrossFit , is either because You wanted to lift more than You can lift, or had Bad tecnique, if You do the workout the way You should do it, You won't get injured, but when You tell people that they're doing things Bad they get angry at You, Even if You was trying to help them 🙄

I challenge any elite level athlete to a game of physical fitness HORSE. Like the game of SKATE: skill for skill, challenge for challenge - first person to spell HORSE, loses. CrossShit is good for nothing. I injured my shoulder four years ago doing it. I'm still struggling and probably never going to fully recover.
