Great video tutorial. I am using the CR 1/2 lb rope and I am guilty of mistake # 2. I have both arms tucked into my sides, but I am bending my elbows in the exact motion you demonstrate @ 1:39 As you stated, the consistency of the rotation is tougher to maintain when doing this improper technique and fatigue sets in fairly quickly. When I try to keep my arms straight and focus on each wrist to maintain the rotation as you suggest, I cannot seem to generate enough torque to keep the rope moving. You're doing this effortlessly? Please provide any other tips that I can practice to maintain the proper technique. Thanks in advance!

Ugh, I still have imperfect form... I have been jumping rope for years and am fairly proficient (I can do most tricks and I even dance while jumping rope). However, I still over use my dominant arm's forearm. I cannot for whatever reason get it right now. I rotate my wrists, but also my forearm moves too much. Don't even know if I can correct it now, since I can stand there concentrating on NOT moving the forearm, but I still move it too much even when focusing on correcting it.

I do none of these beginner mistakes, my only problem is learning how to transition from regular bounce to techniques like boxer or run in place. Just need A LOT of practice but right now the weather in the UK is terrible for outdoor exercise.

Practice makes perfect! Try checking out some of our other videos where we show how to transition to trickier moves. Also, jumping on a mat at your gym or in your basement could be better than braving the cold!

I went from 0 to hero. Just practice. You'll learn faster w/ a anything heavier than 1/4lb rope. After you can flow for 1 min regular bounce you'll be ready to add 2 jumps on 1 foot then alternate. Whenever you start to lose form/concentration, switch back to regular bounce for 10 jumps. Once you can alternate btwn these 2 consistently, you can add alternate step, run in place, high knee (all variations of the same jump). I don't have any tips for boxer step. It just kinda came came to me. Have patience, and fun. If you can't get a flow going, rest for 30 -60 sec then start again with regular bounce. Doing just 1 type of jump may fatigue you fast so having the ability to flow into various jumps gives your legs and feet a break and it's impressive! All the best!

Biggest mistake was going through all the ropes I bought only to buy this expensive stuff waiting for almost 1 month b4 my rope was finally delivered website says 2-4 business days then after 3 weeks the rope handles where it swivels tangles up with every jump rep so that tells me y'all rope for video use are always a new rope not a rope used regularly THANKS snakes oilsmen.. Emo, we're sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the ropes. We do appreciate your feedback and apologize for the delay in the shipment - we do our best to get orders out in time but sometimes it's out of our control. Not really sure what you mean by "the rope handles where it swivels tangles up with every jump rep" - we'd be happy to replace anything that isn't working properly, but we haven't had any previous customers note any tangling of that sort. Feel free to reach out to our support team anytime and we'll help you out. Cheers

Emo Gin I have had a cross rope for the past 5 months and I literally have no issues with it at all, I was already fit when I purchased it and I mainly bought it to learn the skill of jump roping and not only have I increased that skill but I’ve leaned out more thanks to Zen Dude Fitness. But anyway I use their rope frequently and it’s amazing

Did you use USPS for your delivery? Im overseas but I done my research beforehand and they're pretty lazy, if not just straight unreliable with their service. FedEx has been good so far as I bought the starter set and LE ZDF handles but at a costly experience. No regrets but Crossrope really need to find a cheaper, better and reliable courier.

That's interesting. I purchased a set about a yr ago regular ground shipping and got them in maybe 9 days. I've only been using them almost every day on concrete for at least 30 min per workout (been too lazy to buy a mat). The sheath is not even close to being worn through. No problems with handles. Yeah the OG ropes have that clicking sound but it does not impede rope turn. I need the infinity system in my life🙏

Ive been jumping for 5 months now at least 4 days a week 30-60 min. I own the 1/4lb, 1lb, and 2lb ropes. I routinely work out w/ the 1/4lb and 1lb rope. I don't own the 1/2lb but it think that would provide best bang for buck. You quickly outgrow the 1/4 lb if you are not big on "tricks" and the 1 lb is great but I can't do more than 10 min and only 30 sec on the 2 lb before I'm spent or forearms and wrists give out. All of the ropes are top quality but if were to do over, I would recommend only 1/2 lb and 1lb only.
