Hope you called a TnR program so she got the help she needed. And her kittens too. I’ve worked w/them. _Very necessary_ to get her spayed, so no more wild kittens are brought into a very harsh world w/o a home. The kittens can be socialized & gotten good homes...as well as fixed, too. There’s ppl w/barns that will take the adults as barn kitties, too. It’s a win/win all around! Feral cats have _very hard_ lives. And sadly, it’s passed on to their kittens by the thousands, each year. Caring ppl have the opportunity to help stop it, even if for only 1, & her offspring. That 1 alone will add up to hundreds of feral cats on the streets.

It is an honour. I fed Kookaburra's at a relatives place on Phillip Island, quite an experience, they are remarkably gentle.

I absolutely looove this! So much love shown to what we call "a wild animal" but they repay in kindness and more! It's mindblowing how much these little birdies trust you, that they have brought they baby and left! 😍 This is how it should be, how I wish it should be, all animals, human and non human, living in friendship and trust like this, while keeping their freedom. They are so much more than we give them credit for, intelligence-wise, emotionally.... Of course that would require staying away from big predators but even for them, humans are not really their food.

Thank you for your lovely video.🙏🙏 I had a similar experience. What started out with 2 Kookaburra's turning up on our balcony ended with 10 of them. Although we did not feed them regularly but when more and more turned up, we thought that it was wise to stop feeding them so they can live naturally. It was hard to say goodbye, particularly to "Bubba", one of the babies. They would perch on my arm at times. Your video took me back to good memory lane❤❤

What an absolute privilege. Sometimes in life animals make a special connection with people they trust. We should do everything in our power to return that trust and show them we’re not all bad. Just magical and beyond all words.

A strong connection between human and nature! In this instance, beautiful, talkative birds that bring this lady joy every time they meet! I am always mystified by the connection of humans with the rest of living entities, such a close connection that a spoken word is not needed most of the time...
