I thought you always apply your stylers after you have air dried but this time you applied stylers on soaking wet hair!

Hi Jannelle! Love your curls! I'm still new on my journey and figuring my hair out , was wondering if I could ask you something? I've noticed you airdry your curls without plopping as a step. Is there a reason you dont do it,trying to figure out if I should be plopping inbetween my leave-in and gel ,as I have a very sensitive scalp but also like to apply my gel more on damp hair. So plopping could work but not sure if it's good for my scalp? Thanks so much!🌹

If you have acv on hand try that!!! I explain it in the video, starts at 1:52 ALSO can use ASPRIN, I have another video that explains that it’s older titled “relieve dry itchy scalp without drying out hair”

@@JannelleOShaughnessy thank you so much for replying ❤...your videos have taught me so much because I'm older so back in the day us older curly gurls had no idea why or how our hair worked. I was called Q-Tip all through my life. You have taught me and so many other curly gurls and curly queens how to embrace the curl. ❤

My scalp was on🗣🎶🎶 FIRE lol and the only thing that helped was my scalp brush. Totally agree with you 💓Exfoliating is very important for a healthy scalp.

I found a super budget friendly apple cider vinegar "clarify & shine scalp serum" at Wal-Mart by a brand called Renpure. You use it after shampooing, before conditioning. It helps restore pH, clarify the scalp, AND has a little bit of conditioning (cetrimonium chloride, polyquat, glycerin, etc) & a protein, plus plant extracts. Not as clarifying as a DIY apple cider rinse, but takes less time, less mess, etc, and makes your scalp feel great!

will the apple cider vinegar help for a greasy scalp? my scalp tends to be greasy and itchy. Also when you spray the water and acv after the gym you just leave it on your scalp? there’s no irritation if it’s left? or do you rinse it out?

Girlfriend, your hair's looking absolutely deadly lately! And your grey patch is behaving itself nicely, isn't it?? Amazing! I might have to buy some of that Creme Brulee and give it a whirl! xxoo

I would put money on the itchiness coming from candida. Especially because acv and righteous roots keep it at bay. RR has antifungal essential oils in it. I use doterra melaluca and lavender. Melaluca sorts the itch and lavender soothes the skin and encourages moisture (its a humectant). I like using those because they aren't oily like olive oil so there's no build up.
