Hope you enjoyed the video! WHATS YOUR FAVORITE REFRESH ROUTINE?!?! ps. what can I share with you next?!

Maybe you could do a vid on using the denman brush to style, BUT using it like a curling wand instead of the usual smooth/clumping way...theres some other vids out there using it this way, but I'd love to see you try it cause your personality is the best!

Protein free products to save hair from protein overload. Protein free shampoo, conditioner, DC, leave in, cream, oil, gel. That would be an awesome video. Most overload videos are type 4 Hair and I have coarse 2b-3a. That would be an awesome video

What do you do to refresh sweaty hair? I find it hardest to refresh after I workout. P.s. I’ve been wearing the same sweatshirt for the last 2 weeks! (also not Covid related)
@daniellewetherell86094 жыл бұрын
I agree with the person who said a video on how to refresh after a workout. The videos I've seen make me feel like these people don't work out that often. IDK but I work out 4-5 times a week and it's sweaty!!! I cannot go more than 3 days between washes but even then my hair looks like crap by day 3!

YOUARE A LIFE SAVER!!! I have been stressing about my hair because it was beautiful curls and waves on day 1 but then after the curls fall out and everything is flat. I didn't know there were refresh products like this available, and I'm excited to try them out!

I definitely struggle with refreshing so this was great! And thanks for showing product options. I keep trying to like mousse and foam but it always leaves my hair dry, gritty, somewhat tangly and “producty.” I bought a cheap facial steamer and I LOVE how it feels to refresh with steam and I love the idea of it, but never get great results. I will be trying your tips!

Loved this!!! I never tried the Denman brush on refresh days and it makes such a difference!! Your hair is so beautiful! My hair is thinner as I have gotten older and I miss the thickness. I generally just spray my whole head with water and scrunch, but I could definitely use more product. I also like how you clip the roots, that has always been a struggle for me. I also never thought of steaming - wow! Thanks for your helpful tips! I really mean it - thank you! :)

It's good to see you back. I thought I'd figured out my hair but still hadn't really used the Denman brush. When my hair is really wet on wash day the denman doesn't seem to do anything. My hair gets really straight when wet. Now I will try it on my refresh. Normally I extend my definition by loosely twisting several curls together and pinning to my head before putting on my bonnet. It's like curl training or setting the hair each night. I like it because I gently detangle beforehand and so my hair is no longer tangled for days in between washes. Plus I get bangin curls each morning until day 4 or 5. I will try the Denman for refreshing individual curls b/c my hair is similar to yours in curl type. Haven't tried steam either but want to. I remember watching you steam your hair when you were still in Vegas and wanting one of those steamers. I guess it's good quality since you still have it:)

Thanks for showing a different way than I’ve seen before for refreshing with gel. I’ve had trouble getting my hair to refresh with gel. Also I’ve been steaming my hair for a very long time (probably 30 years). I just use a soft not very tight headband to keep it out of my face. Sometimes the face framing pieces get wet and that’s not so bad! I Used to use any refreshing spray I could find. Now that I am CG I use Witch I Love your Hair!! Thanks to you😁

Thank you for this video! I have been curious about the steamer you use...can you do a whole demo on it(if you haven’t already)? I’m curious how you use it to detangle without undoing the curl pattern. Also not sure if you already have a video on this since I just discovered you but can you recommend dry shampoos for oily hair? That’s my biggest issue and that the oil then makes my wavy curls fall. I’m so happy I found this video, thank you🙏💕💕💕

Your videos are informative; thanks. What strikes me is that you are ending up with that triangle look, not enough lift at your scalp. Have you ever had layers instead of all the same length, even a long shag cut? If so, how did you work with your curls?
@JannelleOShaughnessy3 жыл бұрын
My cut is intentional! I personally like the triangular look in general and the fullness that shape offers. I’ve done many layered cuts in the past and they’re not for me.. I explain why here -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6fYeXd-mbKIndk

Hmmmm I have a problem that doesn’t really apply to you. Maybe you have thoughts. My hair is very long, and I’m trying to learn how to refresh when basically it looks like I need to brush it. But of course I can’t just brush it. But you don’t have any tangles, you can just pull your fingers through all your hair. I couldn’t do that. Should I brush it before I do your method? Thanks!

Hi Janelle! This is going to be random. I notice you have a lot of tongue tension when you speak. If you have issues with jaw pain, headaches, etc. that might explain it! In your video when you say words like "curl" and "curve" with a strong 'r' that is a good example of a lot of tongue tension. Maybe weird to comment but I thought it might help!
