I'm working on a PC and I don't have the option to 'open with' when in the downloads folder. So unable to use the alpha method! I have every program other than the preview facility. Is there a way of doing the same with Windows 10 on a PC? There is a more laborious way of creating custom frames so I thought your method would be quicker. One other thing do you know if there is an 8x10 frame already in the elements? Is there a list of default frame sizes anywhere that you know of?

I have Canva Pro yet there are no side handles to my frames and this lack of side handles makes it very challenging. I always used to have this option and every hack video I watch has side handles to adjust side for width and height including this video. thoughts?

I know how to create the Canva frame, but what I'm not finding is how to add things to it. For example, some frames already on Canva have like some paint streaks across part of it, or have sort of an uneven stroke like around it, while some have some little graphics and such on top of it. I'm probably overthinking this but I cannot find any KZbin video or using a Google search that explains this part. All videos only talk about how to make a frame, but not the extras. Thanks for any insight from anyone who knows what to do.

Well, It did create a frame, but I had to keep the overpart in its entirety so that it covered my unusual shape and that background color becomes part of the design, Then when I choose transparent background, the overpart is still there making my design a big rectangle. Not good for printable shirts. Am I missing something?

This was really useful but I I found when I took my image with 'blank' frame into Canva, it became a background in the story and then I couldn't change the layer of the object I put on it, it was stuck on top. I got around it by making sure the image didn't fill the post, and then managed to layer them and then group them, but it was faffy.

This looks like the perfect hack for a project I'm working on, and everything works well, until I try to add text or click anywhere in my Canva project. Then my cut out frame disappears and the photo behind it will show up in front of the frame. When I then select the PNG with the cut out frame, I can't position it forward or backward either. It seems like it disappears? As I have a Windows computer, I made the cut out frame PNG in Photoshop. Has that something to do with it? Or doesn't Canva want this to work? I also tried to add an image in the other corner than the cut out frame in Photoshop. But then the same thing happens with the photo that appears in front of my cut out frame when I click somewhere, while the image in the other corner stays visible. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are having a similar issue to someone else in my group Better Content Creators. Try adding your image first and then add the overlay. Effectively this is just an overlay image over a photo and not a "frame". So don't drag your image over the "custom frame" and just try to lay one image over the other. Let me know if this helps and share your results/questions in the group if you want to.
