Use a sniffer for leaks and check if clutch is cycling. Temp of low side s/b colder than high side. Both sides warm or hot then failed compressor, stuck expansion valve, or high pressure cutoff switch bad. High side is low then its a bad compressor. No power to compressor then chk fuse or relay. If good then high pressure cutoff switch is defective.

Read the manual for the AC machine. Until you close the valves on the hoses, the pressure in both circuits will be the same. Close the valves first, then connect to the service port.

you did not say what compressor is in that car if is variabal clutchless system pulse wide modulate selenoid light bulb what show you bias voltage power hook will show you 3.5volts so you are open circuit somewhere i had that on multi connector

Diag A/c is not your strongest skills. First thing to check if is the compressor is kicking on, if your resting pressure is 100psi on both sides you know pressure switch should activate and send commands to ecm to turn on the compressor, if that doesn't happen the problem is electrical, nothing to do with Freon level.and in pretty sure you can activate the clutch with the scan tool
