i had a sister due the same thing with saying "I only hit a small pothole and the tire went flat and the wheel was ok" WELL both front tires went flat, both of the aluminum wheels in the front were bent like a pretzel, the rack and pinion was bent, and her words to me afterwards were "IT WAS OK WHEN I CAME HOME" I came home from a work related trip to see the carnage,BOTH FRONT TIRES FLATTENED LIKE A PANCAKE,BOTH OF THE ALUMINUM WHEELS BENT BEYOND FIXING AND THE DRIVE AXLES WERE BENT AND THE RACK AND PINION WAS DAMAGED_went out with her in her car to find the supposed small hole, instead i found a very large hole in the street which i told here that you were evidently not paying attention to the road that night,ETC,ETC,the damage was not worth fixing BUT I MADE HERE GIVE ME THE VALUE OF THE CAR AT SALVAGE and no longer allowed her to borrow my cars from now on-What i also found out was that she had gone around a street closed sign and 2 other barriers just to save 3 minutes

@@ozzie_goat I can't complain too much about mine. My biggest complaint is the Honda engine. Working on it is a pain. The back 3 spark plugs are a pain in the ass to replace. It took me 4hrs to replace the alternator a few years ago. But overall I've been pleased with it. Bought it in 2008 with 39k miles on it and I'm currently at 298,559 miles. It's my hunting rig, so I run different tires than recommended. I've plowed through snow drifts higher than the hood, pulled several vehicles with it, I even hauled about 3 yards of soil in the back

The hearse tire looks badly scrubbed from a poor alignment. Considering how much driving a vehicle like that actually does, when it's even slightly out of whack, the tire just starts disintegrating. It's visibly feathered. The outer edges are also worn to nothing, when the inner tread is slightly better-ish? So low tire pressure, causing high heat, was probably partially to blame with that one.

Opinions vary on what constitutes a "granny tranny," but in a nutshell it's a manual transmission with an extremely deep First gear ratio that allows the vehicle to crawl along at a super-slow pace akin to that of a kindly old granny shuffling in absolutely no rush to Sunday services.

The hearse tire is chewed up from gravel and it looks like a very old tire, probably got thrown on as an emergency spare. A lot of city based techs won’t see that kind of tread damage often. Living in an area where there’s more gravel roads than paved roads you see this quite often. Even in a city a hearse will end up driving enough in the cemetery that you’ll see this eventually on the others.

Usually less than half of the wear surface is clean. The inside is always worse than the outside and the rear rotors are the worst for rust.Basically new rotors are needed every brake job here. Sometimes it gets so bad that the rust ridge starts hitting the caliper bracket or the backing plate and customers complain of noise. ive seen the rust get so bad that the pad surface of the rotor brakes off the hat section!! Also rust starts to form between the backing plate and the friction material of the pad and the two separate.
