I'm so happy for you, what a beautiful look! The root color touch-up alone looks so good as a very natural balage. Plus, it makes the roots appear with more volumn since light bounces off lighter colors. What a lovely gift. In London, would you normally pay one amount for everything done in the salon by everyone? Or would you be expected to pay a salon price, plus a tip for each person that helped you, like in the states? ❤

That’s how my boss cuts hair. Always dry, very carefully and thoroughly, then color or a wash, someone else blow dries, then he goes back to cut final touches 💇🏼‍♀️

They do, they have a nail station. I do my own nails so I can’t show you that part but I’m sure there are reviews online ☺️

Thank you! Pricing is available on MVC website I’m sure, but I believe the Diamond Dry Cut starts at £115 for their graduate stylists and goes upwards depending on the stylist you book.

I’m 49 & have hip-length hair, too…cutting 5” off is tough. But keeping length when u’re perimenopausal…tricky! Lol Sometimes it needs it, tho. U look glorious w/5”less, mama🖖

@@ShonaghScott I was sorta putting that off for as long as I could. Once u start…u gotta keep it up. I’ve been using Grande Lash on my eyelashes & brows since Covid & it’s not THAT big of a pain…but putting stuff on my scalp *every day* seems like a lot. Plus I’m not so much thinning as it’s just hard to keep the length w/o it looking sorta idk ratty? They say each hair has a 7 year “life span” & once ur hair is this long - that hair’s older than F.🤭

Thank god you got it for free cause one thing you forgot to mention is that both cut and color cost a thousand pounds!!! I now understand the fuss with the assistant holding hair strands for the maestro although the result is fab who can justify such prices???

It depends on who you have as your stylist. Michael is the top end obviously due to his 30+ years experience, graduate stylists are trained to perform the Diamond Dry Cut which start at £115. While it wouldn’t have cost quite as much as you stated, I was kindly placed under the care of the senior stylists. That being said, every stylist at the salon has been trained in the MVC academy so are all capable of creating equally stunning results, the graduates being more affordable. You also have to take into consideration London pricing. It’s not for everyone, I understand that. I’m simply sharing my experience.
