You could be talking about anything as long as you're showing the truck and only things detailers would notice. Keep the videos coming.

this cybertruck is a crappy 1st gen honda ridgeline 2006-2015, the second gen ridgeline 2017-2024 is better than all of these trucks. even tho ridgeline only has 5,000 lbs of towing capability that cybertruck would still get lower range towing that same 5,000 lb load. even with range extender even tho it can supposedly tow heavier loads. if i won a cybertruck in some prize id sell this cybertruck and buy a ridgeline let some idiot have this piece of crap.

@@billybobbob3003 Cybertruck is a performance truck and work truck all in one. You can act mental over its very existence, but this truck cannot fail. No one else even offers a good EV truck. People with business needs won't waste money buying a lightning for looks. Even if people dislike the look of the cybertruck, they will still buy a cybertruck because other EVs simply are not reliable when traveling due to a lack of reliable chargers and buggy electronics.

@@_PatrickO its a useless truck you cannot load stuff into the bed from the side due to its odd bed design and it will lack good towing range even with the battery extender and then you cant even load a fvcking atv into the back like they advertised once you put extender in the bed.this whole truck is form over function.

@@billybobbob3003 That's not true if you think about it. You just stop at the highest point of the bed and load in as normal. You can also raise and lower the Cybertruck. The range can be extended if needed. But time will tell. The thing is awesome, it been great to see what detailers do with it. I'm not the only one based on the views these guys are getting.

100% for the heat. I have a model three and live in Phoenix and the big front windshield is super nice for visibility but it lets in so much heat. Got it tinted to 50% which you can barely tell it’s tinted and it made so much of a difference in how hot the car gets while driving it

Yes, that's not the safest way to drive. If you hold your hand on top of the "wheel", in case of an accident, your body flies forward and the airbag pushes your arm towards your body/face and you punch yourself in the face going 100km/h. When you hold them on 10 and 2, just like the yoke forces you to, the airbag goes between your arms which is way safer. You should always keep your hands on 10 and 2 and if you don't feel comfortable, it probably means your chair/wheel is not adjusted correctly.

I was super on board with the cybertruck but my interest as come down a bit by and by when seeing where things are falling short. Seeing this video, one of the very smart observations of the gentlemen in the video is that while driving you can't see the front hood or where it might end. In my opinion, this not being able to see the front hood at all in anyway is a major functional design oversight. I can't imagine myself ever getting used to or wanting to get used to not having some reference of the front orientation of my vehicle when driving. I remember renting a cheap car once that had a poor dash design that was so top flat with the window that it felt extended out and hid the corner outside reference points from view and that alone was disorientating and unpleasant for me as adriver. I think the cybertruck falls short in some easy areas I didn't expect since after the first reveal. I do like that they got rid of the yoke, which I felt is unsafe in some driving situations I love the idea of this truck and maybe I'm being picky bc like everyone else I vowed I would buy this truck but now today idk. I'm excited to see the mods people will do and maybe a bad ass aftermarket apocalypse huge front cage like bumber would solve the orientation problem. Feel free to chime in with thoughts.

Not a Tesla (or Elon) fan, and the Cybertruck looks like an expensive, dangerous (for pedestrians/other cars), and resource wasteful indulgence... BUT, it does look SF cool -- like the little brother of the Landmaster in 'damnation alley (maybe a suspension hike and wheel changed to the 'tri-wheel' could be done?) - definitely 1970s chic. The sort of thing you expect to see in 'Buck Rogers in the 25th Century' or 'Logan's Run'). I think it could look even better with the silver mirrored glass tinting - so the entire thing looks like a silver crystal with some black highlights. If I had Elon's billions this is the sort of 'fun' car I might use to go grocery shopping in - just have to pay the parking tickets and traffic infringements for taking up two parking spaces.

I can get a real ICE truck equipped with the same stuff for probably half the price. 10 ,15 years from now, with a little common sense and good maintenance, ICE truck will still be running and won't need a $20 K repair bill. The Cyber truck at least for the short term, will require the 81 Airborne level security to keep the local "Gone In 60 Seconds" crew at bay

For the first time, I have to put an extra $$$ into it, breaks, around $500.00. That's it. No $30 K repairs, no sneaky months subscriptions. It's not a big target for the local "Gone In Sixty Seconds" crew.

Oil changes every 5,000-10,000 miles are expensive and take time for ICE vs nothing for EV. Brakes last 5x longer in EV vs ICE because regen braking. The top ten most stolen vehicles are all ICE. The data show that EVs are 3x lower operating cost vs ICE.

@@TonyStone3000 There is a reason Tesla is doing what it is doing and has done what it has done with all of their cars and made them with very limited options. In this case, color options. Tesla is notorious for 'keeping it simple and efficient' and thus less expensive to produce all kinds of options for their vehicles. They want to make big profits on each vehicle and they are always thinking about ways to do that, including the efficiencies of manufacturing. With Cybertruck, think about it, it is so unique in so many ways and outperforms everything in the eTruck world while driving like a car that it has massive, massive demand on that alone. In fact, the list of people who want one has only gotten larger while the Lightening production is being cut back with similar price points AND Ford is losing money with each one. The question is... Is anyone that wants one for -insert one of many reasons here - not gonna get one for lack of colors? No... not one single person is not going to get this truck for lack of colors. However, that is not to say that Telsa won't vary it in a few years in some way and the $6500 option I expect is probably a specialty coating of some sort far superior to anything out there, but that is just a guess because I can't imagine them putting normal paint on this kind of steel that you can beat the heck out of and barely scratch it.

The idea that $125,000. is a bargain doesn't hold water. Four years ago, Elon said the trucks staring price would be $45,000. Elon also said the exoskeleton was cheaper to build because the body was part of the trucks structure. Fast forward, nearly five years, and the exoskeleton doesn't exist, and the price is $125,000. The base model will cost $80,000. That's twice the price. Cool features. Yes, the truck has impressive technology, and any other electric truck costs about the same. But the truck is simply not what Elon promised. But even thats not surprising, Elon said full self driving would be road ready in 2016 and every year since, and you would be crazy to by any other car because the model 3 at that time could pay for itself as a robo-taxi. It's beyond obvious at this point if you're part of the Elon fanclub/cult member. The broken promises of your dear leader don't matter. Keep feeding the manboys ego.

The exoskeleton exists on the CT. We have seen the figures for how much of the body strength comes from the front fenders and a mention that the rear fenders & sails contribute to the overall body stiffness. The only undisputable requirement is that the covering contribute to the structural strength.
