Upgraded from a ninja 400 to a gen 2 hayabusa and dont regret it. When it comes to bikes or cars i think i am one of the few people that would rather ride a fast bike slow than a slow bike fast. The hayabusa is actually a comfortable bike and fits me perfectly at 6"3 225 pounds. Also i feel a whole lot safer on the highway on the busa than i did on the ninja 400.

I think anyone with a brain thinks exactly like you. If I had to choose between a 600c and a 1000cc I would actually intend to buy the 1000cc with the plan of actually riding slower than I would if I bought the 600. It's actually easier to ride the 1000cc bike slower than it is the 600. Fun is subjective anyway.

2:19 THAT is a terrible place to speed at length.. wherever there are driveways (residential or commercial), or intersections, you are leaving the door open to unavoidable variables that can lead to absolute disaster at high speeds…. Expressways, expressways, expressways….. and particularly at late/early hours, with the help of Waze police watch. And if you want to be extra careful, do a pass at speed limit first, make absolute sure there is no debris, police, etc… then go back and shred that same run…. However, don’t stay in the same area long, because your bike is a siren call to police at late hours.. they CAN hear you, they simply assume you are speeding through the area… if you stay and speed in loops, you are running higher risk Ps- small ‘rips’ on the streets like you are talking about, is fine… but I’m talking about high speed runs

Yes high speed runs are best on the highway away from driveways and people. That is why a lot of guy race on the highway in the middle of the night. As you see I just do little rips around town, never over 100 mph. I just love the bottom end grunt on this lil bike.

Reason why pinagale is hot cause its not meant to be ridden on traffict theyre meant to be cooled down on highspeed(track).. lots of motovloggers complains about ducati melting hot engine on a non moving traffict on a city😂😂

Funny i went from a superbike to a harley and back to a sportbike. Harley's just are not as fun as a sportbike. but i tell ya makes me want to buy another liter bike when im crusing and a superbike blows by me like im standing still

I don't see why people just don't get a naked bike instead of a Harley, some of the nakeds are nearly just as comfortable but way more fun. The only cruiser I did really love and sorry I got rid of was my former Ducati XDiavel S, that bike was badass but too expensive to fix out of warranty. It is the only bike I ever got hit on by a chick and of course my camera battery died when it happened or otherwise that clip would have been on replay forever on my channel. haha

@@CycleCruza i got more attention on my harley then i do on my current Ninja but the riding style is so much different on sportbikes vs bagger's/Cruisers. I am in my 40's so prob should of bought a harley instead of my ninja. But i was never really happy with my harley. bought new and only put like 4k miles on it. Ive had the ninja less then 3 weeks and prob have 4k miles on it already. i do understand the Ducati love tho. Never rode one but man they are sexy bikes. I was looking at the MT09 my next ride just not sure about if i would enjoy the ride style

Thanks for the inspirational videos. I have a bug eyed Street Triple 765 and Honda XR650L as my spare bike which I have plans to supermoto. I have a blast with these on the streets and highway. I have an itch to trade one for an R1 but it would be a poor financial decision and really boring to only use 1st and 2nd gear. I can ring my Street Triple and XR650’s necks which is a blast.

I'm an experienced rider. I ride a cbr300r. I downsized three years ago. It's all I need for city. Bottom line. Small bikes are fun for ripping around the city. So cheap to run and maintain. Also. Insurance is really cheap.

You are spot on Cruza...I have a Aprillia Tuono factory also and it is an incredible fast bike but I ride my Royal Enfield Himalayan more. The only place you can really open up the Tuono is on the Highway and it is always tempting with that engine sound but you will get a ticket eventually.... around town it is not a good bike and it will soon be sold as I learned as you that sometimes a bike you can ride daily is better.... I love the Aprillia but do not ride on a track and that is the only place you can ride it as designed. Time for that Harley ? Lol...

Someone I know very well who has a 1352 CC Kawasaki has put on over 21,000 miles in the last year with absolutely no tickets. Cops have tried to pull him over, but he just takes off, about 30 times or more, and this is an absolutely true story.

Recently I picked up a vtr1000 AKA superhawk 1000 I don't care to call it that name too corny:-) I prefer the vtr1000 LOL but anyways............ I dig it it's got a lot of low-end torque it's fun... top speed is 160 I have no desire to go 160 I just like ripping off the line so this bike actually ends up being perfect for me I'm all about Canyon Road twisties bike is 412 dry very light bike and handles amazingly well for the year when I first purchased it I did it because it was extremely good price but this bike has done nothing but impress me when I thought it was going to do the exact opposite.... the vtr1000 is one of the best bikes ever made in my opinion now and I'm 53 now as of yesterday that is a freaking awesome machine I would have laughed at that before I own one mine has been modified for sure I'm putting out around 130 HP 2nd gear power wheelies or no problem it's just a good fun bike if I see another one for a good price I will buy it all collect these thing people sell them cheap but they're awesome bikes

Nice! That is what I tell folks, strong bottom end torque is what you want for street riding. A lot of the older bikes like your vtr1000 are some of the best bikes. I had considered a KTM 1290 SDR for years but when i actually got to see one in person and sit on it I did not like the feel of it but I bet that torquey engine is a beast. I wish they would change that fake supermoto style and then I would consider one.

I went the opposite route. I went from harley 1200 to fz09 to cbr600rr. Been riding since 18 now 33. Might buy a zx4rr as a second bike in the future. Best of both worlds.

Hey CC, it’s why I loved my Panigale V2. Low end grunt, but super bike looks. You’re right about Ducati cooking you though. Got hot. Question for you. What last year CBR 1000 Repsol the same color sceme of yours, had that low end grunt. It’s my dream bike due to the color, however, I don’t want to sacrifice that low end grunt like my Panigale V2. Best vid in a long time from you Sir. Super bike really is a one trick pony. Having had a 600 and 1000, they both need to stretch legs in order to be in the sweet spot, with ticket magnet built in. Total waste on public roads, and uncomfortable at low speeds. Cycle Cruza has yet to dive into anything with one wheel, and for his love of pull, I think he would love the new sensation of being pushed along instead. Electric Unicycle can free him...

Let's of great info, yes harley shops went crazy. But the ones I went to people were cool and respectful of me riding a 883. But true about attitude. But I have a 1200 it's not a super bike. But runs smooth. And you can get them cheap. You should make a. Vid on a 1200 harley.

I will say in a person's 20's where they still are gumby and riding in uncomfortable riding positions, they don't care or are "whatever". Those are the times where you can go 24hours without sleep and still function, get hit with a baseball bat and are like "whatever" MFKR. Shrug it off and ride uncomfortable for hours, workout in gym like a beast, get hammered, and next day, "whatever", lets ride. Sport bikes fit in this phase.

I really think for most people looking to get into actual Superbikes you're really better off getting a 600. There's a whole case you can make that 1000s are just better street bikes because of the more consistent power through the range but that's the whole point with 600s. The saying that it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow is true and while a 600 is by no means slow at all, you will have more fun on a casual ride ringing the throttle out versus a 1000 that you're really going to be babysitting the whole time.

The ugly truth is eventually your back will hate you for riding a superbike for too long. The small of your back will ABSOLUTELY hate you after a few hours. And if it's a Ducati it'll cook you on it and you'll melt. My back now loves torque naked bikes with a upright riding position.

Stay hitting the gym and you’ll be fine. It’s important to hit your deadlifts and lower back workouts. I’ve been on 3 hour rides on my zx6r and had no issues. Just stay fit and healthy. Hit the gym daily and you won’t even notice.
