not taken seriously as a vocalist? maybe if YOU don't have ears. the rest of us give her her due recognition as a powerhouse vocalist. stop speaking your opinion. no one else shares the same demented thoughts as you. you're wrong, and your opinion is wrong. stop talking to people, before someone actually takes what you say to be canon.

Her passion is amazing! Her body language is I don’t care what you think about me! That is true freedom just being yourself. Cyndi’s interviews are same, I’m going to do and be who I am and what I want. We’ve lost this in society.

This song is not only The Best of Cindy, it is The Best of the 80’s, criminally underrated. I recorded it back then in Cassette, 1985 or 86. UNIQUE! Thank You Cindy, it’s been more than 23 years without listening to this 💎 gem. Tears and full attention to see this video for the first time. You were better than Madonna

100% right on the money. Call the "underrated song" police 'cause we got an all-timer classic that somehow seems forgotten and overlooked. But not by all, this one is on heavy rotation in my house on this fabulous Friday :-)

You're right about Cyndi, but in the 80's when I went through basic training, all I heard over the radio was Madonna, she was about the best I've heard at the time, but when I got stationed in Germany in 1983, I thought where was Cyndi when I was going through basic, because I immediately fell in love with Cyndi after hearing her sing. I don't think one is better than the other, because they both sing different styles of music. Just my opinion, they are both at the top of my list for listening to.

how admirable , full of courage standing there for herself and boasting all the life she can transmit. How strong Cindy Lauper is ... what an amazing, beautiful, unstoppable little doll!
This will be the song that will eventually place Cyndi in the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.” Her passion is evident. “Time after Time” was great but “Change of Heart” is the pinnacle of her career. Its not just the song but the way she dresses, the people shes interacting with, the architectural culture while being filmed at “Tralfager Square in London,” the punk rocker hairdos, etc. it’s near perfect. We don’t see this anymore in music. Cyndi, we salute you!

I really think some critics underrated her vocal talents because sometimes she did quirky light hearted stuff like "girls just wanna have fun" but songs like this showcased more range and how naturally talented she was. Cyndi Lauper???!!!... Yeah!... Cyndi Lauper!... Not Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, or any of the other 100,000+ other "Pop-Stars" that are out there. ... We studied... Cyndi Lauper!... Because, not only did she have an incredible vocal range,... but she wrote and produced practically all her music!... Such an incredibly talented woman!... 😊 Her music was before my time,... hence I had to go back, and research her music (listen to)!... And, because of that exposure that I had to her music,... It's interesting to see how many hits of the past are currently ignored by mainstream radio stations. It's like only a handful of hits were selected for recurrent airplay. My god, this song has such energy. She sure as fire can get her dance on! Fantastic video, brings back so many memories.🌠🎶"If there's truth that you're looking to find...it's never out side of your mind." She has a gift for writing.

My favorite of Cyndi Lauper. Cyndi, thank you for giving me a lot of happy moments in my childhood with your music. I wish one day to do the Cyndi dance if I ever visit Trafalgar Square.
