They're eating eggs from corn fed, caged chickens at $2.00/dozen instead of nutrition dense, free range chicken eggs at $6-8/dozen.. Our people are suffering from increasing rates of diabetes and heart disease and other diseases related to obesity, all brought on by bad food, bad diet..

To be fair. Getting 2nd hand appliances are most likely better. My dryer broke down last week. Repaired for less than $200. It will probably last 6 years or more before breaking down. It only has 3 settings, a timer, and an off/on switch. That is all my family need for a dryer. Getting a new dryer was out of the question. Simple is better. Low tech is the best solution when you need appliances to do one thing very well. It doesn't need to do anything more than that or look like something that doesn't look like a tumbler than spins in circles.

True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions.
