I've had DAB from both bottle & can, and I love it.

Not often you see this one out in the wild, not a bad drop on par with the supermarket Germans. As for hop extract being used its allowed as its resin extracted from the hops, so no nasty added extras or adjuncts are being used, its just a cheaper way of brewing.

I'm surprised you didn't do a dab at the end of the vid there! 😂

I got hold of the Peroni Red this weekend. Which I am looking forward to try expecting better quality of lager than normal UK sold one

@@markatherton139 I have reviewed their Red, although it was a good while back. I am not a big fan of lager style beers , I’d be interested to known what you think of it.

@@ivehadworse7713I used be lager drinker but moved into trad, and craft beers in 2020 during covid after watching yours and other beer reviews out of interest. Have to say now lager beers do taste weak in flavour and very same ever since. But I like try odd one that is not UK brewed as its uk brewed ones that are the worst

Hop extract doesnt violate the purity law since its just another form of hops, plus the law itself doesnt specificy the form of the hops (fresh? Dried? Pellets?). A common practice that is the closest to a violation of the reinheitsgebot would be the addition of minerals into the brewing water imo.

I see you mention Stella Unfiltered. I've got to say I do like it and find it a much nicer drink to the standard Stella you get these days. Have you done a review on the Unfiltered? On a separate point, have you seen St Austell have brought out "Big Job" IPA? I think it's around 7%. The only downside is, I haven't been able to find it anywhere other than direct from the brewery and they're not cheap as you have to buy a box of ten. However, I like Proper Job so will have to invest some hard earned to see what they've come up with. At 7%, a box of ten will last some time..😂

@@tonyska I have done a Stella unfiltered review although it was a while back kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWW6qHmJrNt1rKcsi=jiLrfyHhxR_Nogg6 . I would love to try St Austell’s Big job, but other than their web site I’m not sure where you can get it. Have you tried their Proper black, a black ipa ?
@tonyska2 ай бұрын
@ivehadworse7713 No I haven't seen but apparently you can get it at our local TESCO. I shall give it a go. The only other Black IPA I have ever tried was in TENBY a few years ago and that was superb.

I am from germany and hopsextract is alowed in german beer, i am drinking a Büble Bier right as i am watching and it has Hopfenextract in it also. Fun fact, i lately drank a german Strong"Bier" with sugar in it and on the can it was not called beer but a malty alcoholic drink .. and it was one of the worst Ive ever tasted

'Beers' brewed in germany conform to the german purity law. Is that labeled a 'beer' if not, then it doesn't have to abide by them
