I can relate because my Dad had dementia too. I should have done what you are doing now! So many funny stories about his memory loss. Thats why when he died, the euologies from us children and grandchildren were so funny and memorable. Most who attended said that it was their first time to attend such a different kind of funeral ceremony. Your Dad is so sweet. You will miss him when he’s gone like us.

Ed seems to be doing fine. He knows his surroundings well, talking and understanding, not distracted at all. Only not hearing too well. On this day, a stranger wouldn't be able to tell there's a dementia problem.

I love watching this guy and his dad!! It's so incredibly sweet!! You never lose patience with him, you're just so loving to your dad!! It drives me insane ppl say you're exploiting your dad, you're absolutely not!! So many of us LOVE you guys!! These videos honestly always make me smile. I would do this for my mom if I ever need to. I lost my dad on gathers day 2005 when I was 18. So I only have my mom. I could never just put her in a home like some ppl do. They think their parents become a burden which is heartbreaking!! Just remember.... they raised you, they got frustrated at times just like anyone would, even taking care of a parent, but take care of them in their old age, don't just put them into a home. They didn't put you in a home because you frustrated them. Thank you Dan for your videos with your dad!! ❤💙🙏❤️💙🙏
